Even though Tecna's sacrifice had a personal impact on my, I will say that it is only SECOND saddest to Nabu's death. Only because Nabu's death was permanent, whereas Tecna's state was unclear up until a few episodes later. Yes, Nabu's death passes my bias and Layla and Nabu should've been together. And DON'T get me started on the fact that Nabu is the only PoC love interest. I am not at liberty to go into the subject, but I know that's not cool.

I also wanted to point out to something..a few months ago I saw a video where it's said that the 15th episode of season 5 was going to be titled The Return of Nabu, and Nabu would eventually come back. But because Nickelodeon was leading the show at the time, it never happened. I don't know if it's a rumor but I just wanted to share what I heard. And what is suspicious is that Layla was back to Andros in the episode but not to see Nabu.

But I think it was pretty clear at the end of Season 4 he was dead (even if the animators made such an error to include him with background characters at the end of episode 26). I think Bloom’s couldn’t fully control her healing magic. Season 2 episode 10 she discovers it and immediately the next episode showed it’s very hard to control due to the fact it took several attempts to remove the curse from the pixies. Bloom had to resort to using the realix to heal herself from Darkar’s spell and her friends ( which I believe Dark Bloom is still alive inside bloom and is fighting Bloom. It does explain why she gets angrier easier in season 4 and beyond) she couldn’t heal herself in season 2 episode 17 or Aishia’s eyes in season 3 episode 5. So it is just really hard to control

At least in 4Kids it’s explained it’s the magic in her heart and true love for Sky that she overcame even the darkest magic and it was so overpowering and overflowing it broke Darkar’s control on her friends, even healing Riven from his wound

@Will N Believix isn’t earned through love. Its literally how Roxy was kinda cornered into trusting them. And I wish it showed Roxy being skeptical of actually trusting them because she barely knows these random teenagers that are basically stalking her and spouting nonsense. Bloom’s Enchantix was a very rare exception to the sacrificial rule. Hence why she can’t use her Enchantix powers to the max until the end of the first movie, and she does have a few consequences. Back to S2 ending argument. Bloom’s powers are in a way based on her feelings, specifically passion. It explains it better in the Rai dub that because the Dragon Flame created everything, her powers include healing energy that are super rare for fairies. Hence why she was able to melt the ice in Sky’s heart and revive him. But the ending shows how she is touched by Sky’s affection and isn’t letting her go so easily. And its her reciprocating love that shattered Lord Darkar’s control over her, along with her burning desire to protect her friends, including healing Riven.

@Will N You are overthinking it and taking this waay too seriously dude. The Winx don’t “love” Roxy, but have a mission to protect her until she’s strong enough to fight for herself. I’m willing to kinda overlook she skipped Winx and Charmix because she proved why she wanted to be a fairy and overcame her fear of being one and embracing her gifts. I will NOT give credit for skipping Enchantix as the entire point is showing you’re mature enough to handle such power and aren’t afraid to sacrifice yourself for others without getting something in return. And that’s why its my favorite form, and should’ve come back after S4. You aren’t getting the point of Bloom getting her Enchantix differently. In S3 she wasn’t nearly as self centered and narcissistic as she is nowadays. She feared she couldn’t become a real fairy because you have to save someone from your world. Dunno why Ignio didn’t make an episode with her protecting Mike and Vanessa, as they’re her family, and unfortunately she doesn’t earn it then. There’s literally an episode Bloom nearly falls to her death because her Enchantix powers went out of control in a training session, and Faragonda had to save her because her wings collapsed and fell off, untransforming her. And Faragonda warns her the power is dangerously incomplete and will have various consequences. Despite I’m still mad about how lazy her earning it was, literally just blasting the Trix, the point was she was getting scared and frustrated she couldn’t earn her Enchantix because Domino/Sparx is a dead planet. And even the other Winx’s Enchantix powers combined were absolutely no match for Valtor, as he literally wiped the floor with them. Again, it was her burning desire to protect her loved ones and friends from such a dangerous and powerful wizard she had some beef with that allowed her to basically force herself to transform into Enchantix.

It completely ruined S4 for me when Nabu was forced to sacrifice himself to save Earth/Earth fairies. I still have no idea how the wizards even had enough power left for such a deadly spell if their magic was almost gone because of Believix and especially the Earth fairies being freed. It’s such a disgrace and insult that of all of the couples to be torn apart it had to be Leila and Nabu, they’re my 2nd favorite mainly because I get Pocahontas and John Smith vibes from them as they’re forced to sacrifice their happiness for the greater good of their peoples. Why didn’t Leila just transform into Enchantix to constantly heal him with her fairy dust with how OP it is?! Or I thought Bloom had the flame of life from S2, and she prevented Sky from dying! I know in Nick it said he was “sleeping” but it was a pathetic attempt to get around a darker/mature theme for children, despite Disney movies almost always have a death in them. If someone had to die and stay dead, it undoubtedly should’ve been Riven. I’ve never liked him even as a kid, and this would’ve been a beautiful way to end his toxic relationship with Musa by showing he truly loved her and would do anything to protect her, and will always be in her heart, and she will always love him. Plus this would’ve fixed his stupid obsession with beating Sky by making him the hero of Earth. Plus I actually would’ve loved to see how Musa took losing someone else she deeply loved, considering her powers are the deadliest in an ice realm. And this also would’ve conflicted in her decision in staying in Gardenia to pursue a music career. Why the hell they had to kill the most mature specialist instead of the most immature? Just why? Also Sky isn’t the strongest specialist, it’s literally Helia considering in Rai he used to be Codatorta’s best warrior. Also M2 is meant to be sandwiched between M1 and S4. It was sloppy timing on Rainbow’s part considering Secret of the Lost Kingdom was meant to be the ending of Winx Club, no spin-offs or anything. I thought M2 was actually released during S5 which just made it even more confusing why Nabu was back while Roy was nowhere to be found.

I'm so sorry for Riven, but I agree. Now the thing they did to that hooligan and made him a complete sweet guy is terrible. 🙈 I mean, I'm happy to see Musa feeling comfortable near Riven in S8, but it's not THAT Riven for sure anymore.

@@una_fata Riven I don’t mind him coming back and he and Musa agree to just be friends. There’s nothing wrong showing young girls its ok to be friends with someone you thought could be more with. When Musa and Riven broke up in S6, I honestly thought it meant for good, like Musa had kinda given up on the idea of them getting married. To me Riven has not improved that much either, doesn’t help the art style is cringy. Another reason I heard why Nabu was killed off was to prevent Leila from getting married, because she wouldn’t be a Winx/fairy anymore and Rainbow is kinda forcing her to stay a fairy. They didn’t even bother to explain why Sky and Bloom aren’t engaged in S5, literally just being a couple.

I’m not saying Riven’s true form is being a jerk, but it’s similar to Grumpy the dwarf, the only time he isn’t pouty or grumpy is when Snow White has “died” and when she is resurrected by the prince. Otherwise his personality is literally just being grumpy, hence why its his name. My favorite season of Riven is probably 2 that it shows he’s trying not to be so competitive around Sky but especially in the 4Kids dub he is trying to be a better boyfriend for Musa, especially during her concert episode, when Musa told everyone to start singing when Stormy attacked, he literally screamed “Come on you idiots, sing!” He literally called everyone idiots lol because apparently everyone including her best friends forgot Musa is a MUSIC fairy (Musa is literally from Muse) S3 as well despite Musa considered ending things because she felt maybe he just wasn’t really interested in a relationship because of their lack of growth, including Helia being the one to tell him Musa’s feelings and the look on Riven’s face clearly said he was so shocked and embarrassed he didn’t know in a way he was hurting her

I refuse to believe that Nabu is dead! He's the best man in the series (with Hilya and Brandon) and he's an amazing friend to Riven! They said he would wake up and I would keep waiting for it! And besides the fact that this is the main reason for my hatred for season four, there is also the fact that he could have been easily saved and just no character did anything, which is very annoying to me (there are other reasons why season 4 is bad in my eyes but these are the main ones) I can not stand Knox and I do not understand what Layla finds in him, and if already then Roy was much better, but the best Nabu!!

@@una_fata yep that's his name in my language and from what I recall that's also how thay pronounce it in English but it might have changed in season 8, I didn't really watch that one so I don't know... they're also the possibility that I've been hearing it wrong this whole time but I don't know, he's been around for like two seasons and season 8 (which I separate from the other seasons for obvious reasons) and I don't think I'll be hearing a name being pronounced wrong for that long... But the meaning of the name stays the same in all the languages for my understanding and his name literally mean darkness and bad stuff and more stuff that I don't remember but you can find on the Winx Wiki, all-in-all he's pretty much an antithesis to Nabu and I don't like him and I can hardly see what Layla sees in him..

I’ve been looking forward to watching this video all day and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I love the humour you put into it.. it fits so perfectly. :’) I especially loved the Nabu Enchantix scene. 😂 I am one of the fans that always held onto what Morgana said about him waking up.. her lines are very contradicting though and the whole thing is very confusing. I want to believe Nabu is alive, but I think the answer that makes the most sense is that they were going to do it before Nickelodeon took over and for some reason they changed their minds. Because they’d like to leave us heartbroken forever. 😭 who knows? Maybe one day they will change their minds... anything is possible with winx these days, 💁🏻‍♀️ Thank you for this video. I would like to address another strange fact about Nabu. Where is he on "The secret of the lost kingdom" movie? He was in the movie where he sould't have been, but not in the one in which... well, he actually is! He is no where to be found for the entire movie BUT only in the last scene, the one where winx dance in Domino with all their lover, he is there to dance with Aisha, and they don't even show his face! It's really weird and I don't know what to think about it to be honest. Was he part of the script but then cancelled for... reasons? Maybe he was too strong for the plot, so he simply went somewhere else since he met Aisha and everyone else just some episodes before

@Will N well also originally the Winx were supposed to use Enchantix again in M2, but Rainbow had to get greedy and f*ck it up by trying to promote Believix merch instead. I honestly don’t know why in that case Roxy or Morgana don’t even appear at all. Rumor is supposedly S4 and M2 were being simultaneously produced, so it was sloppy timing on Rainbow’s part, especially considering S3 and M1 was meant to be the end of the series because it completed Bloom’s overlapping story about Sparx/Domino finally being restored and the Ancestresses gone for good

I think that Rainbow wanted to kill a character to add drama but decided to kill nabu because he was the last specialist to appear And tought that the fans would have less emotional attach with him because of that. I think they didn't have the guts to kill Helia, Riven or Sky . Maybe fans would be Even more pissed of it. Also, it would have been Nice And better writting to Say why Bloom couldn't save nabu this Time. For exemple : -What if she was too injured or taken by one of the wizard to save him. -What if she didn't manage to entierely save nabu the first Time in Épisode 20 And Nabu became very fragile at this moment - What if she could only use healing power once per person. She would seem less egoistic 😅😅

@Will N um not true. Flynn Rider in Tangled actually died after Gothel turned to dust because she touched her brown/dead hair. The entire point of his sacrifice was he knew he’d die without her hair, but he’d rather die knowing she’s finally safe and free from someone who never truly loved her. He’s only dead for about a minute but her tears contain the Sundrop flower’s healing magic too!

Its like when Beast succumbed to Gaston’s stab, the curse was broken and apparently the enchantress allowed Adam another chance to be with Belle because she saw that he truly changed and was actually a fair and good prince now. There are even times in real life people are declared dead because they stopped breathing or especially their heart stopped beating. Flynn’s was literally he KNEW without her hair’s healing magic he would die, but he’d rather die knowing she’s finally free and safe from someone who didn’t truly love her. Hence when Rapunzel is desperately trying in vain to get her short hair to work he’s trying to get her to stop so he can tell her his new dream was her, because he knew it unfortunately was the end and they couldn’t have the happily ever after they wanted, but at least she was finally free and he loved her more than his own life. Same with Pocahontas and John Smith, despite he doesn’t immediately die from his gunshot wound, he had to return to London for any hope of survival. She did what was best for both her people and him by choosing her duties as a princess over her feelings, no matter how badly she wanted to be with him she had a more important role/mission and it was a heartbreaking but mature decision. After he tried saying he wasn’t leaving her, she insisted he had to return because she valued his life over him eventually dying knowing nothing could save him if he stayed. She even used his own words to checkmate him to show this is truly what she wanted and was for the best. And the moment she said “You never will. No matter what happens I’ll always be with you forever” they both knew they’d probably never see each other ever again. I mean the scene her father has his hand on her shoulder to show he’s proud she was able to make a heartbreaking decision but completely supported/understood if she couldn’t go through with it, the scene you see her chasing the ship with the “strange clouds” aka sails peeking over the treetops still makes my heart melt and race as he didn’t think he’d get one final anna from her, instead he’s probably crying a river off screen because he’s had to accept losing her a second time, this time sadly very possibly forever

Nabu's sacrifice to save the Earth fairies was similar to how Tecna sacrificed herself to close the Omega portal. I never watched season 4 and I don't think I even want to watch it. Nabu the first ever male to earn his Enchantix; music: Enchantix (manly version).🤣🤣 What should have happened: as soon as Argon was about to snatched the Black Gift Stella could have used her solar powers to blind the wizards (temporary) and Aisha could have used it to save Nabu and Flora 🌸 could have resurrected the plant. Fact: the 4th season and the second move were both in production. In Magical Adventure the Winx should be using Enchantix WHICH FIXES EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM (why Rainbow why? Now the winx timeline is messed up and nothing makes sense anymore) and then season 4 will premier after that. However the DISASTERIOUS Nickelodeon deal decided to reset the characters to 16 (taking random classes) again and again and again and again until season8 Bloom: Magic Winx Youthix (youth+ix) Do Nick have problem or something do they have a phobia of characters growing up Nick: Oh we do allow our characters to grow up Me: You allow Daphne to get married but NOT Bloom or Aisha. Bloom got proposed Twice in the fist and second move until you edited that scene

People hate the sacrifice. But genuinely I think it was beautiful! I adore Nabu so much and I wouldn’t have been so heartbroken if it was anybody else. It was the pinnacle moment that was going to lead to a more mature series too. Obviously we know what followed instead. But it was the execution that followed and not the fact it happened.

so as much as I was pissed of by his death, it gave the series a special dark vibe which i love! i really love nabu but i think we had enough of resurrection; first sky's father then daphne let characters stay dead it matures the show more.. S3-M1-M2-S4 had that vibe and i'm living for it💅
