Awesome Video!!! That forest is amazing! Great shots on the XJ, Putting a camera on the back of the lead Jeep was a brilliant idea! I am definitely putting the Naches Trail on my wish list! After looking at the Cherokee going across the bridge, do you think a full size rig could drive through those trails or go across the bridges? Once again, Great Video and Awesome Adventure! One of my Favorite things is Yalls conversations going back and forth, Yall crack me up !!!
@GoatOffroad4 жыл бұрын
Duddie's Adventure - so glad you liked the video! Yes, I think a full sized rig could go across the bridges but GETTING to the bridges would be difficult. It’s pretty tight back there. We’ve seen a few try but they end up turning around. Or get damage! Do you have a co-pilot that goes wheelin with you?
@wilsonwmaddox4 жыл бұрын
Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association recommends 82 inch width or less. The wider the vehicle, the more difficult it will be and greater damage potential. www.pnw4wda.org/trail_descriptions.php
@DuddiesAdventure4 жыл бұрын
@@GoatOffroad Luckily The DeathCharger doesn't have a straight panel on it so its used to squeezing down the trails haha! I always try to go wheeling with friends, and after watching yalls videos of the trails up there, It definitely looks like Co-pilot / Spotter are important to squeeze through those trails!

About how long it take you guys? I've read online it's a 8-10 hour trail but most say it's actually a 4-5
@GoatOffroad2 жыл бұрын
It depends how far you go. And where you start. In this video we started at WayPoint3 and we went 1.5 hours. We turned around and headed back towards Greenwater. From Waypoint 1- it could take 3-4 hours to the turnaround spot. If you’re going from waypoint 1 to Whistling Jacks, it could take 8 hours! The whole trail is explained well on trailsoffroad.com. I highly recommend looking there! It explains the WayPoints and what the trail actually looks like! It is so beautiful!!!!

@@GoatOffroad washed dishes there as a kid. Place could get pretty rowdy in the bar especially during elk season. The governor back then liked to have conferences there also. Bartender always left us a couple of screwdrivres for us to sneek while cleaning up after the dignitaries got all lubed up. The drinks stopped after I blew the transmision in the jeep wagon that we used to plow the parking lot in the winter. Always remember a young boy that I found crying sitting at the pac man machine as his father was getting trashed in the bar during hunting season. I gave him free pop and racked up a bunch of credits on the old pac man. Peace.

Great video!!! Hey so I have a 2013 wk2. It has the quadra trac 1 system. So its all time 4wheel drive, but no 4 low. I put a 2 1/2 leveling kit with some good alterain tires. Do you think I'd make this trail?

Man I want to do this, but I think the old Landcruiser is too wide.
@GoatOffroad4 жыл бұрын
Mumblix Grumph - it gets tight. But with a spotter you could get a good ways. We’ve seen full sized rigs come in and then decide to turn back because they fear body damage
@Mumblix4 жыл бұрын
@@GoatOffroad Thanks for replying. No spotter, I'm a solo act. It's a moot point anyway. Highway 410 is closed by Greenwater. I'd have to go the long way around through Mt. Rainier National Park. Besides, I'm gun shy after taking a header off a sand dune in Eastern WA. last weekend. No real mechanical damage, but the front is a bit busted up. Keep on wheeling.
