@@NachoAverageFinds For about six or seven years I have only worn New Balance for my everyday sneakers. No matter what price range they have always been comfortable. Sure some are more comfortable than others but never had any problems like heel pain, slipping or toe pain. I can't say the same for Adidas or Nike.Whenever someone has foot problems and they don't want to spend too much for customs the go to always seems to be New Balance. I am not really a sneakerhead but thought about getting the Kawhi Leonard Moreno Valley sneakers. Not because I like basketball but I grew in Moreno Valley until about middle school. So, I thought it would be an interesting thing to have.

New Balance is the "new" trend brand in the sneaker game. Good materials, great advertising campaigns and for your money you get "Made in the USA" or "Made in the UK". The latter also helps to remember a time when everything was nice and simple and you weren't fooled by the swoosh with an app

NB just doesn't miss when it comes to collabs and quality. NB has been killing it over the past 2+ years and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon! I also gotta give HUGE props to Teddy for introducing the pre-order system to his ALD collabs. THIS is how you combat resell and bots and hype. Really hoping this will be implemented with other NB releases now that he will be the head of MIUSA in 2022! So hyped for the 990v6! Great, informative video as always! It's actually sneaky insane the number of collabs they have been doing. Not just the names mentioned, but also Ronnie Fieg, Bodega, Kith, BAPE, Levi’s, Casablanca, Tokyo Studio, and so many more. For the most part, it seems they really want to make these collabs special. Even their own creative team is killing it. Shoes like the ones in the protection pack were fire. Also it'll only get better as Teddy Santis (Aimé Leon Dore's founder) is taking over as creative director in 2022. I'm definitely late to the game as I started really looking at NB when the Bodega No Days Off released. Back then (only 2.5 years ago), the hype was still fairly low. I bought a GR pair of the 2002R (on sale) and was actually surprised to see that they are reselling for a lot more now. Now I have 5 pairs. 2 327s, 2 2002R (second one being the sea salt CW from the protection pack), and 992 Made in USA grey (the ones that Steve Jobs made popular).

Totally agree with you on there not being enough sneakers made in the 1st world. But check out Adidas consortium, they have some made in Germany models. They probably aren’t popular on this channel but the Yeezy foamrunners are made in USA and the 450s are made in Germany.

I love NB. The pairs I have are so comfortable. I started getting in to sneakers earlier this year and one of the first few pairs of shoes I got were NB 574. I didn't realize they were dad shoes until I started seeing that in sneaker communities online. Idc tho, they're nice to me and just so damn comfy. I also have the 1300's and 550's. 550's are definitely the cleanest to me.

Been a huge huge fan of the ALD 550s. Got the yellow, and now green and grey on restock. Quality is leagues ahead of the GR 550s. Aside from that, what really blew up NB this year IMO is the 992s. Castlerock, Nimbus Cloud, Blue. It helps that it's all you see on those niche IG mood board brands i.e., Hidden NY, Garden & Seeds, etc.. Cant' forget about that 2002r Protection Pack. Fire.

NB's and Asics are always my to go shoes when I know I will have to stand or walk all day. They are just so comfortable and durable, just like a GEL Asics. I of course love all those more popular, hyped brands like Nike or Adidas, but when I need a real comfort I always choose my NB's or Asics... It's like you can buy medium-price NB's that will give you the same, or even more amount of comfort and stability than more expensive Nike or Adidas shoes. And in my country NB never had this "dad shoe" status, so even decade ago they're just normal, comfy, nice looking sneakers...

ngl whether its a numeric or runner, the quality is always A1. I also love the fact that the pricing really reflects on the quality of the materials. As much love as I have with other brands (looking at you Jordan/Nike), the quality has not been justified for how much they're letting it go for.

Interesting that you made this video now, I was watching Jacques Slate (slade?) talk about this a bit too with regards to Nike sort of failing a bit and people getting off their train. On one hand, it makes sense...it's becoming crazy that I can't just walk into my local Nike store and get a pair of like Jordan III's because all these hyped kids bought them to resale or because it is so crazy popular they can't keep demand (which is BS IMO) I have no doubt that Covid and shipping/global supply issues have made this even worse but point stands. The flip side is like you said, I think people are just looking for something new and fresh and while I do love my new Dunks and AF1 mids it is getting a bit boring to see like every 3rd person rocking pure white AF1s, AJ1 mid/hi's or some form of Dunks as well. I never personally liked the shape or style for NB but I do very much appreciated that they still make *some* of their shoes in the US, I have toyed with the idea of getting them, and for an old geezer like me the arch support would be great ;) Awesome and timely video as always!

i'm more on comfy side rather than trendy side, new balance gave me comfort since i stand and walk a lot. i do own some nike's and adidas but my 990,574 and 997 gave me the most comfort of them all. no hate for nike,adidas and other brands but right now i don't really care about hype or popularity. i just want some comfy shoes.

I was sleeping on them for the longest and then I got into the Made in USA sneakers and now I’m upset I didn’t get into NB earlier. It’s really simple, they make dope stylish sneakers with top notch quality. I love Nike and Adidas but sometimes you’ll spend 200+ dollars on a Jordan retro or pair of Yeezys and the quality can be hit or miss. EVERY pair of NBs I own are great quality and I haven’t been disappointed once. And they have so many models that there’s something for everyone

I love the new balances I have but I prefer to get them on sale, sometimes they fit weird and they’re expensive so it can be hard to justify

Here in Germany New Balance had a ruff start. 20 Years ago it was very popular by Neo Nazis. But this changed over the years and it is now worn by normal people with no Political subtext. Helly Hansen, Alpha Industries, Lonsdale and Fred Perry had the same problem.
