Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into CASH. It is Nacho Stuff but that doesnt mean someones trash can't equal cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it through resell, other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.
I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. The fact that I can get paid for the effort is icing on the cake. Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date with my latest hunt and possible cool finds.

You don't always get a choice of where you're going to put stuff as you don't know what order it will come in. Besides I don't think his yard pays more for neatness. 😊

== No worries. For the cords, the item can still be used. You can splice a new cord onto the item if you want to use it. The cord is worth about $1 a pound and it adds up fast. The batteries are similar - I get between $1.25 and $5 per battery. As long as you do not cut the cord inside the cars compartment the person would just buy a new battery. They normally would want a new one anyways so it holds a better charge. That is one reason I do not clip the wiring in the cars. Anyway you look at it - they are saving most of it from the landfill since it is highly likely that they will be picked up by the garbage man and not by another person - I do try to leave stuff so others can still use them if I leave them behind. Thanks for watching!
