I still remember when my friend told me to get Pokémon Black. I didn’t know anything about Pokémon. Once I got to Nacrene City, I lost like three times at the gym, then my friend told me about where I could catch a Timburr and that’s when I learned the importance of type advantages.

Speaking from recent experience and Alpharad’s advice: The best way to beat Lenora’s Watchog is another Watchog of you don’t have a fighting type. The advice from Alpharad was to use the Daycare to level up your Pokémon without the risk of them getting K.O.ed. Trained my Patrat encounter on Route 1 this way into Watchog and beat Lenora with Rock Smash, Confuse Ray, and Hypnosis. Yes, chessy and chaotic. But it worked for me!
