I don’t think it’s bright but I also have klipsch speakers and don’t think they’re bright. I’ve read a lot of reviews online over the years about ppl saying they were bright. So if you can listen before you buy I’d do that. Maybe see if someone local has one you can listen too.

I am fortunate to have audio options. The three sets of speakers I have are ProAc, JBL, and Spendor. Amplifiers are Bel Canto, NAD, Luxman, and Technics. I had a small Quad tube amp that was very good, but I gave it to a friend. I also had some KEF LSX (v. 1) and gave them to another friend. I am very fortunate.

I have other integrated amplifiers - Luxman, Quad, Bel Canto, and Technics - so the NAD piece is something to vary my experience. Also, I got the 3050 LE in part for sentimental reasons, as I had a 3020 back in the early 1980s. The new NAD piece isn't going to make me a better person or help me live longer, but I am enjoying it considerably so far as something a little different, as a bit of variety in my listening. For speakers I have KEF, JBL, ProAc, and Spendor. I feel very fortunate and even grateful to have this new NAD amplifier, and I do my best to not take my very good life for granted.

I have been pleased with the amp - articulate, yet smooth, plenty of power for the levels at which I listen. The piece has sentimental appeal to me because my first HI-Fi amp was an NAD 3020 back in the early 80's.
