The thing that cracks me up about the manga is that Noda is the first one to notice that Shin has a thing for Yankumi and the others think it's bizarre that he does. But funnily enough they try to constantly hook them up. Eventually it's Noda and Minami who get Shin and Yankumi to meet up at the festival.

I wish they have gotten together in the drama series. I just love the pair of shin sawada and yankumi in the drama. :) so cute. love their team up.

I have been a fan of the show for the longest time, but I have never read the manga or watched the anime till recently. I am a Shinkumi shipper. There's nothing we can do about the live adaptation. I just wish they would remake the anime and cover shinkumi's love story, too.
