I loved this part of pregnancy where hubby and I planned things for our son, it was a lovely bonding experience for just us so enjoy every moment of that because when baby comes, you guys will divert all your attention to that little one for a good few months before you bond again. So happy for you both, watching this makes me want another one 😊 ❤

So happy to see you up and about with the nursery 🥰 This is the time to do all that stuff when you're in that stage of the pregnancy 👍🏼 Later, you are not up to anything and just want to rest because of the heavy stomach. So do as much as you can now 👍🏼🥰

I like the lighter more neutral stripe pattern. Also, would keep the shutters. They balance out the radiator and will add privacy. You look adorable by the way! ❤

Hi Nadia you need a Finished Carpenter. A finished carpenter does all the final finishes of woodwork like doors, window trim, baseboards, crown mounting/cornice, wainscoting, built in wall shelving, cabinets etc. My husband does this type of work. As far as the Crown molding/Cornice all depends on your budget and how important doing top quality “custom wood work” in your home is to you vs trying to get a similar look with cutting cost. Of coarse doing real solid wood is the most highend proper way but you can definitely cut cost by using MDF wood which is a pressed wood(it dents very easily but when used up at the ceiling its not near any daily wear and tear) there also is foam but not really sure how that looks. You may loose the sharpness of the edges in the detail and the joints? Not sure I’ve never seen my husband opt to use that. Also not sure how foam looks painted. He’s definitely uses the MDF wood when people need to really cut cost but definitely wouldn’t use MDF anywhere that can get bumped, kicked, hit by the vacuum etc like baseboards, because it dents very easily. Another thing people do to cut cost to get a similar look of paneled walls/wainscot is just put wood trim in squares on the existing wall. But proper paneled wall/wainscoting the entire wall is covered in solid wood and the detailed squares are cut out. There’s a lot more labor and material involved but again it definitely has that high end look because when you paint it you get that real nice finish of the whole wall being wood so it adds riches and value to your home. When you just put up some picture frame molding in squares you see the existing wall texture with moldings just stuck on and you just don’t get as lux of a look but definitely can get the same vibe and looks upgraded. Good luck. Ask me any questions if you have any.

I would keep the shutters in the nursery, you will want the room as blackout as possible especially as the baby gets older and curtains don’t block all the light x
@DominiqueDadd5 ай бұрын
Yes, agree! And my niece ripped my sister’s curtains down after hanging off them. Shutters are easy and safe for kids rooms 😊
@NadiaAnya5 ай бұрын
I was planning black out curtains!! Do you think keep them both or just stick with shutters 🤔 xx
@Tootsy30915 ай бұрын
@@NadiaAnya I have both to make it fully blackout but if your shutters do the job well enough you could just keep them xx
@samlightbowne38625 ай бұрын
@@NadiaAnya totally both. My sone has both in his bedroom at his grandparents house. At my house I only have a blackout blind and would like shutters too. Hope that helps. If the shutters do the trick then use them x ❤

Loved the video! Could your lovely dog be territorial because of your pregnancy - protecting you? I only raise it as when I was very unwell earlier in the year, my greyhound suddenly became very barky and growly around other dogs - and there was a feeling he was protecting me in my vulnerable state. (I don’t mean pregnancy is being unwell in any way, but I hope you know what I mean!) Maybe something to ask your dog trainer! Ha. Mine are spoilt too x

Couldn't you get the paint colour matched so that it's exact coz if you're anything like me it will drive you mad if it's slightly off 🥴 I love the wallpaper though do they do it in green? I think you made the right choice with the neutral . Can't wait to meet baby boy 🩵 xx
