I loved this video of you two. Just an information Renee, I've been using Medik8 crystal retinal 6 for three months now. I started as suggested one application the first week, then two the second week and then every other night and no peeling or iritation whatsoever! I too have sensitive, reactive skin that is combination prone to dehydration and acne. Just so you are not intimidated. Keep up the good work! 😊

LOL! She has a lot of personality :-) If you watch Nadine's videos with Jo (THE BEAUTY HAGS), their energy is quite similar, which translates into a more balanced interaction on camera. Renée has a softer energy. But it's interesting to hear them exchange opinions on products.

i still feel sorrow for the passing of Brandon and wished things would of went differently for that ending! I am not quite sure how things could of been handled differently better maybe if he got healed, I will never forget his legacy for the products he brought the world! Sorry guys but I swear by Liz earl cleanse and polish I absolutely love it and have found nothing better ! I have used it for over ten years , and I have a mature skin and do use a lot of eye makeup and yes you can open your eyes without stinging or discomfort ! The toner goes hand in hand with the cleanser.

Elizabeth Ann ferrario that’s what I started with too, and it was a game changer for my dry, flakey skin. BUT since then I’ve found much better ingredients elsewhere, from brands like those mentioned- Paula’s Choice, The Ordinary, liquid gold, and Beauty Pie Japanfusion followed by their aha scrub mask(my favourite), amongst others. The LE one is so gentle, if that’s all you need, unlike my aging skin;)

I’m so glad you mentioned the WONDERFUL PEACH & LILY hydrating, calming gel cleanser!! I am really puzzled that this entire line hasn’t received more buzz! When I cleanse my skin with this cleanser, I do massage it into my skin, and I lightly rub it all over my skin for at least 60 seconds (120 seconds, even better) once my skin is wet. My skin feels so soft and nourished after I cleanse with this PEACH & LILY gel cleanser. I have dry skin, and my face never feels tight or stripped after I use this. I cannot recommend it highly enough! In fact, every single item I have tried from this line has been fantastic!! Everything lives up to its claims, and the ingredient list is awesome!! The oil and glass skin serum are two skin care items I will never live without.

I do have to say... about cleansers, it definitely depends on the eye makeup to say if it stings the eyes. I use the Eucerin Dermato Refreshing gel cleanser which is just wonderful... depending on the mascara I use. This cleanser itself doesn’t sting my eyes; when I don’t wear mascara, it never stings. Some mascaras I’ve tried and washed off with it have burned terribly. Others not too bad, and some don’t sting at all and I can open my eyes without issues.

The Inkey List Polyglutamic Gel is a silicone party onto itself!!! IT has Dimethicone as the top active ingredient, as well as Bis-PEG-12 Dimethicone and, Polysilicone-11 in the top ingredients. Rene was just trying to be polite. Also it seems strange that Retinal could be so strong with concentrations way lower (0.1%?) than the 5% from the Ordinary. Rene is right to be skeptical, as the 5% retinaldehide doesn't peel me as much as a 1% retinol. It is a form that should be stable regardless of crystal encapsulation, so not sure if the delivery mechanism will provide extra strength. I will try it and report back.

I have a question regarding the Medik8 Crystal Retinal. For years I had used the PC 1% Retinol, but switched to Curology a few months ago. You really need to try Altruist sunscreen. I get it from Amazon UK. Developed by dermatologist Dr Andrew Birnie... fragrance-free... 2 X 200ML tubes SPF 30 for £8 delivered...2 x 100ml tubes SPF50 for £7.50. It's a combination sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast Developed to encourage the use of enough sunscreen, not for profit! Also they give a donation for every one sold to a charity for children with albinism. I love it and it's the only one I use now. :)

Nell JM Exactly! Thank goodness for Dr Dray! Both the Altruist SPF 30 and the SPF 50 are superb. I don’t understand it. I live in fear they’ll be discontinued, so I hoard them in a very cool dark place! I don’t even wear foundation but since using the Altruist women keep coming up to me and asking me how I get my beautiful glow! I’ve been getting *beautiful skin* compliments from men, too. It’s literally a brilliant sunscreen, but perhaps not *glam* enough?! However, I do think it’s selling well to the average consumer…like ourselves. :-)

Tammie Horler I choose products from Paula’s Choice and Green People, that are just for rosacea, as I’ve found them to be the best, alongside a vegan/plant based diet. But lately I’ve added cbd oil too and my skins much happier and clearer!

Sorry to say this Nadine, but I’ve been following Renee linger than you, it only by 2 months!😉. Love you both! The wealth of knowledge between both of you is extraordinary! BTW wish Ameliroate was sold in the USA. I always have to order my cream and cream wash from ASOS or Lookfantastic. It has helped my arm KP tremendously. Like you and Renee, I have scalp issues too and have to use prescription Ketoconozole shampoo as I’ve tried everything otc, including the Christoffe Robbin and Oaui scrubs, Nizoral, etc and they all break me out and cause flaking stuck to my scalp even though they are supposed to do the opposite.

Arbitrary skin care history: the first L'Oreal vitamin C product of that type was Lancôme Vitabolic. Similar tube and - what it looks like - lovely texture, but only 5%. Still I felt like it gave me some improvement.
