Thankyou queen Nadine! Calling it how it is. I finally got rid of my cystic acne after 8 years just by removing fragrance and essential oils completely. All those years of stress, anxiety and money spent.. I can finally be foundation free. Totally agree with the Typology I was instantly interested because it gave me the ordinary and inkeylist vibe but their website had me really confused, I really dunno what we’re they trying to even sell lol.

I used some of the face theory products. I bought the AHA/BHA cleanser, the Regena-C calming serum, one of the moisturizers, the glycolic 9% body cream, the daytime cream, and the 10% niacinamide/azaleic acid serum. So far, the only thing I like and would keep is the niacinamide, azaleic acid serum. I think there are way too many oils in them for me. The actives are great but also too many to truly be okay for me. I just ended up with a horrible breakout that did not go away until I went to the dermatologist and I went back to the basics, keeping everything super simple. I only use the niacinamide/azaleic acid every other night between tretinoin. Everything has cleared up. I am generally okay with acids but I just think those are products that are easy to get carried away with.

Would be interested in you opinion of Timeless Skin Care, especially the 20% Vitamin C + E + Ferulic. One of the few reasonably priced L-Ascorbic products available in Canada ($26 USD, $40 CAD from Canadian distributor). Unlike gritty The Ordinary Vit C, it doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

My fiance came in a couple of weeks ago with a new range from aldi called oats & honey nourishing face cream and omg I was blown away. It's just like silk on your skin and leaves my face feeling really hydrated all day. Its paraben,sulphate,fragrance & sulphate free.I've tried to find backups but it's sold out 😔 I have tried loads of different moisturisers but this was by far my favourite and if you can find it grab it!

I would love to try the PHA-Vit C product if it didn't have the fragrance :(. That's the only way I would be able to tell if it helpful or not. If it ended up not being helpful, it could just be sensitivity to the fragrance mitigating any benefits from the two actives.

Hi Nadine, if you have time it would be really helpful if you had any updates on products to help manage rosacea. I was looking back at your video you did with your sister in 2016 and it would be great to know if she has any other recommendations or is sticking with the same products. I have just realised that my adult acne is also prone to rosacea so I'm having to adapt my usual skincare routine to something more soothing. Would be also fab to know what you think about clinisept and if that would benefit rosacea skins at all.

@lorainemcgillivray774 жыл бұрын
If it's for spots or acne then azelaic acid is what you want. If it's for resurfacing/exfoliating then both glycolic and lactic acids are known to be safe during pregnancy and lactation. As always please consult your doctor or midwife if you're unsure. Dr Sam has a video on azelaic acid and paula's choice say both glycolic and lactic are safe to use. DO NOT use retinols/tretinoin or other vitamin A derivatives, as although the risk is small re the amount used it's better to be safe than sorry. Hope that helps.

Clean beauty means the effect their company and products have on our planet and our health need to watch the documentary ‘Beauty Laid Bare’ on bbc. Its important for brands to want to be a clean eco friendly, ethical brand now a days or by 2050 all of our skincare products will be taking over the planet due to landfill only 9% of products truly can be recycled. And how certain ingredients are sourced is truly eye opening brands sugarcoat a lot of things that happen behind the scenes in other countries for them.Love you and your videos btw just a lot of things shouldn’t be looked past so quickly! ❤️❤️😘

It would be great to have Nadine's take on it. I finally got my hands on one, and I love it as a first oil cleanse. The packaging is great, terrific price point, removes stubborn sunscreen and eye makeup. I've noticed that it leaves sort of a hydrating film on my skin even after I use a second cleanser which I really like, but if anyone complains about this product that's probably the reason why. The only criticism I've seen is that it's oily, but it's not too oily for my skin

I think it is that the brand really doesn't go in a particular direction. It's everywhere. Like they want to be simple on their ingredients but use perfumes in some of their products. They're some face and some body. Just a little everywhere like they don't know who they are. They're just putting stuff out there to put it out there.

Nadiiiine! (she says in a sing songy voice lol) :). You devoted a good 5-10 seconds of your precious air time, and even MORE outward disgust, at that Romilly Wilde marketing of 'Light and Energy' (lol...go back and watch it everyone), but a mere 10 minutes later/ very next product mentioned, you don't realize how you gave a big ole free pass to Max Factor marketing their product with the bullocks hyperbole: MIRACLE. - Face palm, Max Factor.- That's a big problem that you have to admit is a blind spot for you and others firmly planted in the conventional beauty space. It's just not appropriate, and people could legitimately call out the conventional advocates as hypocritical on this topic (Again, see the contents of this video as Exhibit 'A'). Clean beauty advocates may not have a solid case either, but show me someone on that side who has berated the marketing (not the ingredients, which they always critique), but the marketing of conventional beauty brands. They don't do it...even though they could. I'm not firmly planted in either corner so I have nothing to 'protect'...except objectivity and fairness. Peace out. Love your vids! x
