I've been using her stuff since she created it. I was even a test marketer for her products. Only thing I've washed my face with since. I do highly recommend her products. I'm 54 and people think I'm 35 or less all the time. Trust her.

Debbie Absolutely! I didn't know Paula, just her product range. But she seems like a no BS woman. I could listen to the two for hours. I only wondered about the air tight containetrs as some of the products shown seemed like pipette dispensed serums...
@lol3657 жыл бұрын
mnk tfn yes - some Paula's Choice products are in pipettes dispenser systems which is simply down to the products being liquid. But Paula's bottles and droppers have an interesting stopper in the top that drastically cuts down the size of the mouth of the bottle, thereby cutting down exposure to air.

Your vids helped a lot. I now have a skin care routine for normal/combo skin finally! 1. Your good skin cleanser 2. Your good skin pore minimising toner 2.1 sometimes a Korean sheet mask 3. Viola vitamin c 20% serum with hyleronic acid 4. Innisfree orchid moisturiser 5. I'm guilty of not wearing sunscreen but I try to when it's sunny. I'm seeing improvements in the overall skin tone of my face already. My face has gone brighter. But my neck is dark still so I gave to sort that out😂

Thanks for this video! I have sensitive skin and have been suffering from eczema and acne too for years now and it's honestly so tiring because I'm afraid of triggering either one - I'm afraid of drying out my skin with acne products that will def aggravate my eczema, and trying out new makeup/skincare products that may irritate my skin? Ever since I found your channel I've been more informed and have been reading every product label so hopefully it'll pay off haha. Also I literally just realised that there's a Paula's Choice retail store where I live so that's great. Will definitely pop by soon!

Ahhhh! Girl crush! I've ALSO been following Paula's advice for, wow, over 15 yrs, after buying and reading her Beauty Bible. Its still on my bookshelf and has been my go-to reference. Thanks to Paula, I've known to use unperfumed products, that VitC products are light and air sensitive and shouldn't be coloured - or in clear bottles! To ask myself "Why does this "Wonder Product" contain alcohol, peppermint, lemon, orange or lavender? That fingers in jars is BAD, that AHA'S rock and scrubs suck. About suncreens. How to read an ingredients list. pH levels for ingredient efficacy.... Just so much! Just discovered your channel a couple of days ago. Thank god its the w/end and my fella's away fishing - I get to binge watch your videos! Lol! I love your no-nonsense, straight to the point product recommendations and that you're educating your viewers about the latest skincare science, ingredients and packaging so we can make informed choices. @lol3657 жыл бұрын
Peggy Oberlander I have rosacea and have used Paula's products for 9 years with great success. It really comes down to whether your skin is dry or oily and what textures you prefer. You would want to use a mineral sunscreen and not a chemical sunscreen simply to avoid the potential irritation. Otherwise, it takes experimenting. Also, do look into IPL treatment if you haven't already, it is a seriously underrated treatment for rosacea.
@peggyoberlander97747 жыл бұрын
lol365 Thank you for your help. I was very confused when I went onto Paula's website as the what products I would need for my Rosacea dry skin. I thought the products would have Rosacea on them either for dry or oily skin. I see they have a toll free number to call so I can give that a try. Thanks again.
@michellekelly29377 жыл бұрын
Peggy, My sister has rosacea and has used Paula's line for years. She likes the Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser. I like the Moisture Boost Cleanser. Both are creamy, rinse off cleansers. My favourite toner is the Skin Recovery Toner. It's very gentle for dry skin. There are several toners in the Paula's Choice line that are suitable for someone with rosacea. It just depends on your skin and your personal preference. Everyone's skin is different, so you MAY have to try a few different products to find the one that works best for you. That's how I've found my favourites, by experimenting as lol365 said!

I'm a huge fan of Paula's Choice and loved this video. There have been some products, however, that Paula (and her Beautypedia site) have rated poorly, that other skincare gurus (like you) recommend. Pixi Glow Tonic is a recent example. I'd love your thoughts on how you feel about products that might be challenging in this way (i.e., you love them but other skincare gurus advise against them). Conflicting info from gurus I trust is always a challenge! Thanks again for making such a wonderful suite of videos.
@NadineBaggott7 жыл бұрын
I think you trust what your skin says to you - I don't use Pixi Glow because I don't like scented skin care and I say this on my video about it - but I know others love it and I recommend products that I might not use because others with different skin types love them. I will always prefer unscented skincare on my face (not such a stickler on my body unlike Paula) ... but opinions vary depending on your training and background. I am great mates with Caroline but we don't always agree on things. So if you try it and it works for you then go for it. For me I like unscented active ingredients led skincare, with no oils ... but if you have dry skin then your needs are different and if you believe in aromatherapy then you beliefs are different again. I tend to think more like a dermatologist than a facialist X

Hello Nadine, I've followed you but was unable to post under your videos NOW I CAN. I'm 52 my skin in good shape( spf since I was 13) but its combo, scent sensitive, sensitive ,very fair. I have pores on either side of my nose (from younger breakouts, not full blown acne) that bother me endlessly. I use Clinique vit C and occasionally Indeed labs vit c 24. I love SKII essence and Clinique Smart Serum, which is Moisture Surge w/o fragrance. Haven't gotten on Retinol yet, I'm sooo sensitive. I do use Revive Glycolic acid and a good antioxidant from 3lab. What do I do to fill in the pores?TIGHTEN, resurface, blur. So glad I'm here. I frequently revisit your videos and enjoy them immensely.

THANK YOU Renee It sounds to me like your skincare regime is great - retinol is the only thing that can really tighten and firm skin to make a visible difference but it sounds to me like you might be ready for, and can afford, laser treatments. Fraxel is the way to go to tighten skin and minimise pores. Niacinamide is proven to help minimise pores and Paula's Choice have a great serum booster. Thanks Nadine for another brilliant informative video! You have inspired me to change my routine & im seeing results!!💕💕💕 Paula's products look good & I am thinking about trying the night resist one, but at the moment I'm loving the results with 2% advanced retinoid from The Ordinary. I also have the ordinary 1% but haven't tried that yet do you have any thoughts on which one is best? Also it was great to hear Paula say that retinoids should not cause flaking peeling skin, because Even though I can see great results my skin never peels or flakes which did make me wonder if the products really were working I also like Indeed labs vit c but wondered how it compared to The Ordinary vit c 23%? . Ps. I love your white top could I ask where it is from? Thanks once again x
