Waah! Waah! Such beautiful poetry and such beautiful singing with wonderful musicians (Flute especially). This is a piece of poetry by Shiv Batalvi inspired by a line in the Sikh holy scripture Guru Granth Sahib (this is first Guru-Guru Nanak's poetry). The original line is 'Nadiyan Vaho Vichuniyaan Mela Sanjogi Ram'-means that once rivers part further meetings are difficult & very unlikely-it conveys the sense of Birha or Seperation. Shiv Batalvi's line is' Nadiyan Vaho Vichuniyan Sanjogi Mela Ram'-all verses are beautiful, full of pain and separation. Shiv often used to be inspired by Guru Granth Sahib (another beautiful example is Mere Raam Jiyo, Tussi Kehri Rutte Aaaye'-sung by Chitra Singh in the Jagjit Singh Album Birha Da Sultan). Dev Rawat Sahab, beautiful singing. God bless. A million thanks to the composers and arrangers!

Had no idea that Shiv Kumar "borrowed" from Sri Guru Granth Sahib: Ang 439 nadheeaa vaeh vichhu(n)niaa melaa sa(n)jogee raam || The rivers and streams which separate may sometime be united again.

Gurbani is of high importance but like these compositions its a disrespect to the purest part of universe.

I think we shouldn't sing 'The Gurbani' in such an ordinary way that we lose the respect of Our Guru Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It's not for singer. Am sorry.
