Easy way to prepare freshly picked kangkong ( water spinach ) from my mini balcony garden. I made stir fried Kangkong with tofu and garlic in oyster sauce. It goes well with fried fish and rice. I hope you enjoy!
INGREDIENTS :
1 bunch chinese kangkong ( water spinach ), cleaned and trimmed
1 black firm tofu, cut into cubes
3 tablespoons cooking oil
5-6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 small size onion, sliced
1 tablespoons oyster sauce
ground black pepper, to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, adjust as needed
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon sugar
slurry, optional ( combined 1 tsp cornstach to 3 tbsp water )
