this is one of the most underrated metal albums of all time - it is an absolute masterpiece.
@mariozd9713 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, it's the true. Only few people i know have heard this masterpiece and everyone i recommended it said its awesome ! I think they didn't have much luck, 1995 when this album is released was pinnacle of black metal and people overlooked this because of awesome releases in the same time as Dissection- Storm of the Lights Bane, Vinterland, Sacramentum...For me much better than their countrymen Marduk( awesome first 5 albums though) and Dark Funeral which i enjoy too

Blackened Vol 2 had so much quality on it. Was blown away by these bands back in 96 as a 16 yo metalhead. Not even going to single any out, because too many of the tracks on the compilation were priceless musical discoveries which consequently unlocked the veritable trove of blackened gold I have treasured for 25+ years hence.

@@jaysonwitting4671 Interesting, that is quite a bit different than what the Metal Archives says, and I'm more leaning towards trusting them. Where it says "Recorded at Abyss Studio, Pärlby, Sweden in July 1995." And "Released in December 1995" While SOLTB was "Recorded at Hellspawn/Unisound Studios in Sweden, between March 17-30th, 1995." And "Released November 17th, 1995" Either way, two of my favorite albums of all time.
