I travel too. Japan is the best country for efficiency, modern conveniences like trains, and for having the most polite people in the world.
@RagnarCzerwony3 жыл бұрын
The image of the most polite nation in the world results from the Japanese attitude towards work and religion and the fact that their politeness is in fact a ritual of some kind, not something that would come from the bottom of the heart. These issues must be viewed in the context of Japanese historical experience, value system and other socio-political factors. The ruthless rule of successive monarchs, death penalty for even minor offenses, absolute obedience of the subjects to authority. Moreover the US occupation after the Second World War helped Japan to recover from the crisis and develop a fantastically built economy, with a hard work of its citizens. If Japan got under the Chinese or Russian sphere of influence, the communist governments would probably do with this country a terrible things, resulting a similar situation like today have the countries like Poland or Czech Republic. Paradoxically, the Japanese should be "grateful" for the American invasion and occupation (ofc historically Japan were with the Nazis and attacked first, so should be grateful they were not wiped out completely from the planet Earth by Americans and the rest of peaceful world), because it allowed them to develop the economy to the present state so quickly and efficiently. The Russians and Chinese would not allow it.

India is not gonna reach the level of Japan even after a 1000 years. Just think about it, if we had vending machines like in Japan over here, people will loot the whole thing including the container. It's the mentality of the people that makes them the way they are. We saw how people broke the LCD screens from the superfast train here in the first few days itself.
