I love that you actually let the Indonesian gentleman critique your Nasi Goreng sauce, and Im sure that he appreciated that as well. That shows that you give special care and respect for the authenticity of foreign cuisine despite maybe not having the most authentic ingredients available for you. Big ups! May I suggest trying to cook Filipino Adobo next time? Its very simple and very delicious ;) . Thank you for the great video, Mr. T! The fried rice looks great too :)

I just found this channel a couple of days ago. I dont know how I ended up here, but thank you KZbin for sending me here. These videos are satisfying to watch and addictive, and oddly calming. Ive enjoyed every one I've watched so far and appreciate your skill. And between you whistling the theme to the Muppets or a classic The Who song, there is no shortage of entertainment ( if you take requests, I would like to hear some Queen some time. Lol). Thank you Chef T. You have a new fan here across the pond in Tennessee. I would like to ask one question though, when you cook do you taste what you're cooking to make sure its seasoned right? What videos I have watched, that was one thing i noticed you dont do. I didn't know if it was edited out or what.

It is garlic, onion, chili, ketchap manis, the sweet soy that gives the flavor to a Nasi Goreng. Your Indonesian friend that you asked, thought it needed more sweetness. Then you would have soy in Ketchap Manis. It gives a sweet taste to Nasi Goreng.

hi MrT, big fans here 🤟. Its really amazing that you tried to make the ingredients from scratch, just to add a little tip for nasi goreng, i assume that in UK its a bit rare to find dark thick sweet soy sauce, maybe try to make it thicker by caramelizing a bit, so when it combines with the rice, it doesn't make the rice soggy. The rest, all should perfect! I can smell the nasi goreng by only watching your videos haha! cheers!

Are you running the go pro on internal battery? It lasts about half an hour at most at above 1080p settings. So do you have like ten batteries fully charged and you have to constantly remove the go pro from the mount and swap the batteries and put it back on the mount at last the right angle which is trial and error?

When I was a kid in middle school I was obsessed with how some nasi goreng places get theirs so red, so I put ketchup and abon (dried beef or chicken floss, because I wasn’t allowed to handle raw meat) in those early nasi gorengs, but I never could make it as red as the street ones…
