You definitely can! Use the same method I tie in the end of this video when I tie the line directly to the hook.

Thats a lot of fly line to cut. You should slide the knot closer to the end before tightening.

Hey Man, tbh, when attaching tippet to leader, I use the double surgeon's knot. KZbin that knot, super easy and quick.

Copy of the Tie-Fast Knot Tyer Combo Tool by Sierra Stream and Mountain. Theirs is stainless steel; don't know about this product, their website link doesn't specify material. Only benefit I see with this product is the added plastic / rubber finger pads and the retractor, at about the same price as the Tie-Fast with no retractor included.

You have to do a double Nail Knot... do this, flip it around and do it again and you're gtg!
