I am in CT . The Vietnamese salons are trying to get 100 dollars for a full gel set plus 20 for gel polish. They are not clean places and they do a terrible job. I taught myself to do my own nails. every time I used to go back to the places for a fill the price always changed and went up. Never again. Learn to do your own.

Yeah it’s amazing when that’s all they do all day every day is nails, and they put out crap like that. On top of being so friggin dirty. I watched a lady soak her nails off in acetone and then when they were done with the acetone the nail tech dumped The Used acetone back into the big jug!! I was like oh hell f’kn NO 😳. Shameful. And I guarantee we deserve it bc we’re all just stupid Americans.

That's why I always say,focus on shaping, get your SHAPING as good as possible. Cuz the prettiest design looks ugly on a bad shaped nail. But a good shaped nail,with just a white or black boring polish looks fantastic...Imo🤷🏻‍♀️ Btw. 60 bucks for one bad af hand? Smh🤦🏻‍♀️

THIS is why I started doing my nails at home!!! Not only would it be expensive and time consuming the quality wasn’t it for how much I’d spend. I’d always have lifting and nails popping off, once you start doing your own you realize they skip a bunch of things to save product and money. They cover up the poor quality with a nice polish, design or airbrush 😑🫤😦

This is why I learned to do my own nails. The walk in places like this are disgusting, terrible work, unsanitary, but cheaper and the nice places that do good work are just too expensive for me to get my nails done every 3 weeks. I bought a bunch of salon quality products from kokoist, zillabeau, and luminary and I just do it all myself.

There's a second nail shop on the same strip as this one. Same owners too. I stress do not go there. Knightdale, NC. I have not had a good nail experience there. Even a pedicure, they've cut me, and my manicure was too thick, uneven, bumpy, and they didn't listen to anything I said. I ended up going elsewhere days later to fix what they did. Its going to take another month to finally have healthy nails again.

Honestly because they were rushing that didn't really get that clean finish there's still some beads of acrylic on the sides that should've gotten filed down and honestly just the idea that didn't have the necessities that other nail salons had and that everything was sticky is a red flag because it could cause health problems in the long run
