Ana, I have super dry skin on my hands since I was a teenager. I don’t bite my nails but they look almost as bad anyway. The dry skin is hard and annoying, causing the nails to split. I pick at my cuticles constantly because the skin is itchy and just doesn’t feel right. People think that it is a bad habit. But I was on a medication for a while that healed the skin on my hands and without even thinking about it, I stopped picking at my cuticles. Unfortunately, that medicine was not actually for my skin and it was just a short term fix. And now in my golden years, they are drier than ever. I’ve tried everything. Hopefully long before you are my age, they will actually come with products that provide long term healing for those cuticle. In the meantime, you are at least lucky enough to have someone who can transform your hands back to beauty.

I have that cuticle pusher. I should say had, I threw it out after slicing myself open with it twice. And I was being very careful. That sucker is sharp, so keep that in mind if you order it.

How can I research to find nail technicians in my area who are professional and does this kind of thorough work? My hands are a lot like hers, I don't bite my nails, but they are prone to side-cracks. I would like to treat myself and get short squared nails manicure and painted. Does nail prep always take so long for others too?? I have never done that much prep before and I've notice lifting most of the time it takes awhile before the lifting starts. I love watching these tutorials. I'm super nervous about clipping the cuticles, I just push them back. I also end up nicking my cuticles with my e file. Please help!!

No, with some clients it’s super easy and quick , it takes so long only when there’s too much dry skin - which is typical for nail biters

Hold out for a good one, Anna!! You've got years -- perhaps decades -- before you need to worry about "the doom of loneliness" -- if ever. Let other women train the man-boys first and keep living your life freely. If you take in such a boy you'll be stuck caring for him like his mother (who kept him a child in the first place). The more bruised your heart gets, the worse the character of the man will be that you settle for. Protect it. Men of low character search for women who have been badly hurt because they're easier targets. In many cases, he'll expect you to care for him financially as well, even if not right away. If they don't have their caca together the way that you do, tell them to come back and see you when they do. Get a cat (or dog) instead and have fun dating on your terms. I understand they look better than they used to, but that doesn't mean it's OK. I don't understand why she pays you to get these nails done and then takes them off and let's go right back to looking horrible again versus leaving them on until she can see you or a local person more often? and just may be trimming them shorter? I just don't understand but I'm glad you're helping her.

They had mentioned before they struggle too fit in a session because their both really busy. She is also a chef so it makes sense they nails pop off after a long time because she's always working with her hands. Also, as a nail biter myself, you still find yourself biting the imperfections of the nails after some time has passed. Bit surprised they pop off.
