What a pretty card! The Spellbinders Glimmer Bootcamp videos are filled with foiling tips and techniques. My favorite is to apply anti-static powder to the cardstock to help avoid over foiling. Really does work!

Hi Cathy. Beautiful! Don't throw out the leftover foils . You can you them on a card panel and they'll foil onto your cardstock for a whole new background. 😊💗🇨🇦

Good job Cathy!!!!!! I also don't foil as much as I should ~ and I LOVE it when I do. What's up with THAT?? I love that you spatter with TWO colors! Cathy, your card is gorgeous. I've been debating about hot foil. You sure made it look easy. I do like Gina's fuse system and question whether I need both. Thanks for your video.

Yeah, they are different for sure. Gina's Fuse is the heat / toner system, which works really well with her Poly-Glaze sheets. Like, it's foolproof. I have had a learning curve with hot plate foil for sure.

Hey Cathy! Love this card so much bought the stamps, dies and stencils! My question to you is, because I am contemplating on buying a foil machine. But I'm unsure why would I need to, if I just use embossing powder. Because I feel as though embossing powder would achieve the same look as the foil, or am I wrong?

You truly do not have to! So… embossing powder is shiny too, and has a bit of texture to it. Foil is flat and smooth and shiny. They are just different looks, but you get shiny either way!
