I watch several other Russian nail artists (because y'all are just the best) and I've noticed that what you call aquarium nails and what we call aquarium nails here in the US are two drastically different things lol. Idk if we even have a specific name for this design, other than a glitter ombre. 🤷♀️ Either way, this is one of my favorite designs. I love when a glitter peeks out from under a solid (or milky) base. It's such a chic look! 😍

What does sealing the underside of the nail with top coat do?
@marielanders48062 жыл бұрын
Keeps dirt or germs from getting under the product because she filed underneath to fix the curving nails, it also helps to keep the product from peeling as well. Hope this helps. 😁

What does lifting mean?
@Kaciiiii2 жыл бұрын
When the product is not adhered to the natural nail anymore. Can be caused by hitting the nail or material not suitable for the nails. Since this one was in the stress zone and the middle of the nail, I suppose her client hit her nail. Sometimes they dont even notice or they forget that they hit it 🙈😊 It needs to be removed so no moisture gets in. It could cause fungus.
@sandyrice35592 жыл бұрын
Lifting is when the product (acrylic, builder gel, etc) separates from the natural nail leaving a gap where moisture can get in.
