She's fantastic! Reminds me of Aldous Harding and Nick Drake a little. Great songs and voice. Thanks!

Yes, she’s got some deep connections there. Been watching her solo projects with interest after she chipped off from playing bass with Goat Girl more or less just as they were getting a load of traction. Her voice and delivery are really captivating.

yes - idiosyncracy of Harding and the lightness of Drake though she makes it all her own.

I love Goat Girl but I can see that now she has exited from that band, as a solo artist, Naima has a special talent. Both her songs and her voice are beautiful

She’s really great. I’ve seen a few of her post GG performances going back five years or so. One here from four years ago. kzbin.info/www/bejne/naOtpJ6Ve6t_oqcsi=TwY2G9HRE_Vb0HNN

Hey Lou, thank you so much for the constant uploads of such amazing music, there's always some great finds, the Windmill scene is a blessing. One question, do you happen to have any recordings by The Guest (Isaac Wood) with James Martin? I saw a poster that in 2019, BCNR did one of the shows on the Windmill along with other artists, and the duo of Isaac and James was included, but i never found any live material of them.

Thank you. I’ve been following Naima through a few twists and turns since she left goat girl. I think my first sight of Isaac was with rosy bones, also of Goat Girl kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2HLmqVog5KWqqMsi=qNcGAWctwfKIPPBO And then a few days later, and curious to see his solo performance as The Guest at the Windmill. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKaQhIWYrraWr9ksi=dsAjdasFxMVl6PvZ Surely this would have come up in a search? If no, then you’re in for a treat.
