HOW TO: Paint Scooby-Doo on a Nail using Gel Polish

Hi Everyone!
Today we have another classic cartoon character for you guys, Scooby-Doo! We thought this was a perfect on for Halloween as well considering Scooby and the team are always solving spooky mysteries!
To start the nail off two coats of the beautiful purple shade Rum Raisin are laid down as the background for Scooby. Once that is cured the basic shape of scooby is painted onto the nail using Coffee Bean and his ears are added to the top of the shape, this is then cured.
Serious Black on a detail brush is used to map out the shape of Scooby's face and paint his nose in. The eyes are added in with Snow White and his mouth is painted with a dark brown shade, the artist mixes a light brown shade using Snow White and Coffee Bean for the inside of his ears. To finish his eyes a thin black outline is added and a dotting tool is used for his pupils.
The final details are added to Scooby now. Old soul is mixed in with top coat to create the perfect shadow colour and this is painted onto his face anywhere the light would not hit, the light brown shade from earlier is used as a highlight shade to create some definition on the face.
The final touches to this nail are his cute pink tongue, the classic blue collar and some adorable paw prints in the background. A generous coat of top coat is added to seal in the design and bring all the colours together.

He is pretty perfect isn’t he? So cute! I would love to see Shaggy, Scooby and Shaggy go together like peas and carrots for sure. I loved watching you create him! Thank you! Oh! New here!
