Russian Almond Using Acrygel

Hiya
Today we’re going to do a Russian Almond shaped nail but today we’re doing it with Acrygel.
We’re going to start by applying the form right at the edge of the nail and create two little cuts to make sure it fits the nails properly. we want to form to come up a but to create a hidden apex. I’m going to need Gel Residue Wipe Off solution to keep the product from sticking to your brush.
I’m then going to dehydrate the nail and apply Base Coat. We’re then going to use Tempting Fate, squeeze it onto a spatula and then apply it to the nail. I’m then going to start with the cuticle are, smoothing that are out and then pull the acrygel down the nail, creating little wings at the side for the Russian Almond shape. I’m then going to cure it and whilst it cools, I’m going to pinch it. Use Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution to finish the cooling off quicker.
I’m then going to file the nail and buff. I’m then going to top coat and apply cuticle oil.

When I squeeze out too much Acrygel I carefully place the excess on a piece of nail form backing paper, or a little piece of parchment paper, or a silicone mat, and use it to form the next nail. I make sure that it, and the brush, are well out of the way of the LED lamp, of course! I used to try to leave it on the spatula end of the brush, but it took me about two balls of product to figure out that the product on the spatula would just end up on the back of my hands, NOT my nails. I love this Acrygel color, too. It's a glorious shade of pink! My next Naio order will definitely include a tube of Tempting Fate! But if any company ever makes my dream shade of hybrid gel, which is a neutral to cool medium pink (like Tempting Fate) but with a golden shimmer, brand loyalty be damned, I WILL buy it!

I do like the word 'perpendicular', but at least in the Midwest where I live, we do not use that word on a regular basis - pretty much only in math classes in school.
