I was in Nairobi last week (June 2022) and saw several of these pieces at the hotel I was staying in. I remember watching a video on BBC about this project and was excited to see the many beautiful items. The one I really wanted was too big to get home, but I did buy a large hippo. It is an incredible work of art.

Beautiful but.....the washing must be done industrial because this way they are not clean enough. Little children stick toys in their mouth. I wish those people lots of succes.
