Molar mass should be the mass of 1 mole of h2so4 and that's why it is in g otherwise it would be 98 amu(atomic mass unit) if it is taken as molecule.

I am sorry to say that the explanation of Equivalent weight in terms of the ‘bulb concept’ is totally wrong. Equivalent weight is much more than that. And also Equivalent Weight and No of Gram Equivalents are not the same, they are different. Please don’t share wrong knowledge with others, as they would also study up the concept wrongly. The concept of normality and equivalents is a unique and beautiful one. But for one to apply it in real life, he/she needs to know what all these terms exactly mean. Hope you take this comment in a constructive manner. 😊

Disagree!!! According to many sources including Wikipedia, Equivalent Weight, Equivalent mass and Gram Equivalent are all the same terms (Link is given). As you know that giving name to any concept does not hold any value as far the concept is not altered. Also, there are several issues between several syllabus. Wikipedia is not a reliable source for gaining scientific knowledge. Equivalent Weight = Molecular Weight / n factor No of gram equivalents = Given Weight / Equivalent Weight From the above formulae it is very clear that no of gram equivalents and equivalent weight are not the same. Equivalent weight of a substance is the weight of one gram equivalent of that substance.
