Rehana was my friend. and a very nice lady. I miss her.

Yes. She was one of my fav heroines from late 1940s- to early 1950s when she was working in Indian films including Ada, Actress, Lajawab, Shin Shinaki Boobla Boo, Sargam, Sunehre Din and Dilruba. She wasn't able to maintain her success in Pakistani films and was reduced to small roles by 1960s.

​@@cineplotAs per late journalist and writer Ali Sufyan Afaqi who penned Filmi Alf Laila in an Urdu magazine "Sarguzasht", she married to an owner of show shop who settled her in Nazimabad, Karachi where she used to teach Quran to small children and had entirely given filmdom so much so that she was never found attending an event participated by film stars. She was issueless and nobody from this era even knows that there was once a Rehana!

Rehana was married to some shoe merchant but it was his 2nd marriage. As she got no child whether she was divorced or widowed or separated and resided in Nazimanad, Karachi where she gave up all filmi activities and started to kill time by teaching quran sharif to toddlers. I read it years back, I think in 90's in Magazine Sarguzashat in which Ali Sufyan Aafaqi a filmi writer wrote his memoirs. God knows whether Rehana is alive or .....
