Thank You for your honest review. I’m waiting for mine and since I’m replacing my 5.2.4 system for the dragon I really hope it was worth the wait. My system is powerful and loud but I found that the clarity and detail is not there even though I’ve been playing with the setting for almost 2 years but nothing.

@RikshithShetty I don't have any either.. but this wait for my dragon is killing me.. Have heard mixed reviews, like deformed sound bar due to shipping issues, bass not loud enough.. I am excited and nervous both at the same time.. Do you think the bass is good enough and worth the cost, is it good for listening to music - bollywood, rock..

@@amitaphale18 The packaging is very well done, so unless UPS manhandles the package, it should be all good. The quality of the soundbar and speakers are rock solid. As for the bass response, you will need to temper your expectations with the initial out of the box performance. I can tell you my experience, but I am not an audiophile by any stretch, so your mileage may vary. When I plugged it in, the first thing I did was play the demo and that was absolutely astonishing, because it was very well calibrated to deliver that particular experience. Then, I played a few trailers and songs that I love, to see how it sounded. While I loved the fidelity, I was a bit unimpressed by the bass out of the box. It sounded a bit hollow for my taste. But I was determined to find the right balance for my taste, so I played different tracks and turned on individual subwoofers, saw the difference it made and set the bass response accordingly. Once I calibrated it, the bass response is a revelation. I had a Samsung Q950A before this, and I like the bass response on that system overall, and this surpasses that, hands down. The bass is really deep and rich, not the tinny or bombastic hollow that you might get on a very cheap soundbar (I know because I have had those too). If you are not impressed by the initial bass response, don't lose hope and fiddle with the settings till you find what works for you. This system has plenty of bass to give, just not right away. Also, setting it for different uses, like game, movie, news, requires a l'il bit of work, so that is another area where I feel it is not as plug-n-play as other soundbars. But then again, no other soundbar gives you this kind of granularity and fidelity as well. Also, Everytime you change source or pause and play, it takes a second for the sound to come back. It is a minor issue, but might be annoying to some.

Yes, I am figuring out the best TV riser that will support the weight of this one (85 inches) while also considering moving up to a 98-100 inch TV. So, that will change in the near future.

I have a q950a as well. I was disappointed in the bass because we sit like 20ft because of how long my LR is. How is the bass of dragon compared to the q950a?

The dragon I believe is 4.4 inches tall. My TV stand is 16 inches. And my TV is 3 inches, so it does clip the bottom of my screen. Need to buy a TV riser for it.

No, I'm based out of US, so got it when it went on sale. With taxes, it cost around 3.8k, but that was before the price increase.

Who spends $4000 on a soundbar? You have the space for a receiver and separates and it will sound a whole lot better imo.

I can only speak from my experience. My wife absolutely did not like the idea of putting speakers in the wall and making all these permanent changes to the house. Not just that, she felt like the number of speakers required would make it look too cluttered. So, this system worked out well for me. And I can tell you, the negatives are just nitpicks. This system is absolutely amazing in my experience and I love it.
