There is very little seperation between the bed layer speakers and the upfiring speakers, they almost all fire from the same point. Terrible for channel seperation. And bouncy house/upfiring atmos speakers don't work very well.

The Dragon 8" Subs fall way way short, bottoming out often when watching Dolby Atmos contents.

this is why you get a dedicated system. For the price of this system i have 2 svs pb 1000pro subs with a denon receiver and kclipsh speakers. 7.2 set up i could get 2 atmos speakers if i wanted too. This soundbar will never surpass it at that price point

​@denziiey 2 channel stereo music coming from a sound bar is highly unlikely to surpass a pair of stereo speakers. However, klipsch speakers being processed and amplified by a Denon receiver... the dialogue intelligibility, perhaps

@Totalplonker the guy I responded too said dolby atmos playback. Meaning movie content mainly i presume. This sound bar last i checked was over 2 grand. A dedicated 5.2.2 will sound way better and is either at the same price or lower. Trust me I know this. I could never spend that much on a soundbar system. However I see why people like it. Ease of installation and it's more minimalist. However the moment you crank up a dedicated system you'll never go back.

@denziiey i'm actually considering modifying Dragon's 8" subs to SVS PB 1000 Pro subs. The Dragon 12" subs are just a robbery at current price.

@nahlho1807 that'll definitely be a step up. It's just sad you are paying way more but still a decent modification. I'd sell the whole thing and build up from those svs subs. I used to do soundbars but after switching over omg I love it. Those pb 1000 pro will go down flat to 20hz and drop off at 17hz they sound amazing
