Should i get KTM RC250 (31 ps power + 24 nm torque) or CBR250RR (39 ps power + 23 nm torque) ? Based on specs, the KTM is always lose on higher rpm right bcs it only has 1 cylinder. Would be KTM accelerate faster bcs it has higher amount of torque? Or power wins the acceleration? Sorry for my bad English hope u understand

@@srr1887 hi this is just my own advice the thing that you should look at in your situation is where in the power range does it make the most torque. The lower the rpm with the higher torque would be best suited for your situation.

I am a naked bike guy for sure. I have the KTM 1290 Superduke R, and it kicks ass. It does it all and you’re comfortable while riding.

You are right on cornering with the FZ-09. I ride a GSXR 600 and test rode an FZ-09. The FZ-09 didn’t corner as well and I felt like it came out wider. Good stuff, gave you a sub!

Well crafted machines are beautiful when the mechanics are open for viewing. Exhaust pipes are a work of art. Engine blocks are a showcase of power. In the case of the MT-09, the CF cast frames are really a thing of style and beauty. Maintenance is easier with access to drain plug and filter. Insurance is less expensive due to the naked bike being classified as something other than "race bike" and the lack of fairings means insurance won't cost as much if the bike dumps.

The only thing I don’t like about my naked is fast freeway riding. If you tuck really low to the gas tank your arms are up high on the bars and your lower neck and shoulders can start to hurt. Other than that, I love my GSX-S750.

Fun fact: The Fun Zone 09 has the same cornering clearance as an R6. Naked can turn no problem! The fz's suspension is just a little meh compared to most sport bikes. But on a smooth road with a good rider (better than myself) it can turn damn well.

I hate naked bikes for mainly one reason, they are a pain in the arse to keep clean and i love a clean bike especially with my ocd haha so I'm more than happy with my daytona

I am not a track a guy. I am definitely that dude that's all day on his bike commuting and maybe small trips to the outskirts. Still, though I really want a sportbike instead of a naked. I know I might regret my decision but everything about a supersport appeals more to me than a naked(I am converting from a 660 single cylinder and I am still working out if I want a naked or a sportbike).

I ride z1000 liter naked and I can corner on it just as quick as sport bikes. Your biggest difference between the two is top speed riding.

Naked vs Sport is more of an aesthetic decision when it comes to beginners. As a beginner, it's more important that you get something that is learner friendly. Something with a smaller engine (250cc, 300cc) that is lightweight. There are both naked and sport options when looking for those engine sizes. Some Beginner Sportbikes: Ninja 300, Yamaha YZF R3, KTM RC390. Some Beginner Naked Bikes: KTM Duke 390, CB300/500f, FZ-07(maybe). Hope this helped!

The R3 is a sport bike by design, but why people don't feel that way is the risers on the clipons. I've ridden long rides on low clipons on my Triumph, and the R3 gives you a more comfortable riding position. Since I put a higher seat on mine, the position has change to require more forward lean. I degress, a sport bike is style not engine size, and with a better windscreen the constant blow on the body is missing from the naked. It gets old to be knocked around by the wind, and that's why many of the new naked bikes have a place to bolt on a windscreen. That's a big equalizer.

Yeah I see where you're coming from. I feel like the R3 is a good middle ground between the two. It looks like a sport bike, but has a more upward riding position. And yeah I've been looking for a good windscreen for my 09 because the wind is really annoying at points, especially on a long highway ride.

It sound like you may have a new bike in your future. The Yamaha 900 GT is a combination of both with fairing, big wind deflector, and you can order it with hard bags that look wonderful. If I ever consider another bike at my age it would be the GT.

does having the bike naked make it more fragile to crashes? I mean In a crash the naked bike components are all out, while the sport has something to protect a bit :P. Its just a question .

The most common part of a bike to be damaged in a crash would be the engine casings. On most sport bikes, the engine casings are not covered. So, overall, a naked bike wouldn't be much more fragile:p Good question though!!

arggg this is hard, I like sports bike but I went to a Tuono, its as close to a sports bike as I think you can get, but it really has to be what you like, best of both worlds on tuono, looks (pretty much rsv4) but with upright bars, at least my 2015 model is, older ones are a bit diff looking.

Own GIXXER 1000 K7, test rode a new yamaha MT10 SP and blew the shit out my Gixxer in low to mid range. Serious machine and more power than you'll ever need. It's that or a speed triple rs for next bike

Yeah you could. Naked bikes are usually a little less aggressive looking than sport bikes, because they are more upright and have less angling in their design.

I love naked bike. Don’t get me wrong there are lot of reasons to go on a naked bike specially to ride on the street. But bro sport bike is really cool to ride. Beautiful to watch. And when u go fast u way more stable and aerodynamic. And the best i get way more girls that want to try my sport bike. Event if is not really friendly to ride with a passenger over 20 minutes. For me sport bike all the way even if my back and my wrist are painful sometimes. U have to suffer for what you love.

όταν πήρα απόφαση να αγοράσω μηχανάκι τότε πούλησα το σκούτερ sym 125cc και έψαχνα cb 400 αλά δε βρήκα σε καλή κατάσταση . :(( με 600cc gsr νιώθω πύραυλος είναι λίγο παλιό μοντέλο αλά 250 kmh πολύ εύκολα. στα 190kmh+ πρέπει να κρατιέμαι καλά επειδή δεν είναι σούπερ σπορτ
