All 3 of them were attacked, which makes this murder, attempted murder, and animal abuse. Regardless of any extenuating circumstances, these lives were shattered beyond repair. The rational choice not to abuse alcohol and/or not take drugs comes way before any irrational acts, so I make no allowances for any type of substance abuse. Since Michigan does not have the death penalty, the only just sentence would be life without parole. Regardless of guilt, this case will be delayed, go to trial, etc., because county jail time is easier than prison time. JUST SAYING...
