I just now remembered how when i was young me and my sisters would sit in my basement every halloween and watch halloween town instead of going trick or treating because i didn't like getting dressed up in costumes. Looking back at it i now realize that they watched it with me not because it was actually a great movie, but because they wanted to do something with me as a tradition. Its a really sweet memory and thank you for bringing it back jakey. As the younger brother in a family with two older sisters i always felt left out but that memory reminded me of when they really cared about my interests.

it comes to me that jakey's videos are a way for me to remember certain parts of my life or to keep track of times. when I first watched this vid I was living with a shitty roommate (though they could argue i was also shitty) and really down in the dumps. drinking almost a liter of vodka a day (750 ml is what i drank) and just using that to cope with not having a job; having just moved out of my dads house for the first time; being unemployed; and just the everyday stuff (anxiety and depression) and here, a whole year and a half later I've moved out of that place. I'm back living with my dad I just got fired from my job because I had a sprained ankle and couldn't lift the 100lbs they wanted me to and I am drunk. nothing got better for me. but now I'm back rewatching this video and it takes me back. thanks for reading if you did.
