Nala’s Back | Joey Practicing With Flirt Pole | Barney Tells Off Cruiser

The girls; Tilly, Joey and Cutie Pie have some fun in the morning with the flirt pole. Joey leads the team. Kitty Rose is inspired and tries her skills with the TV cable.
We head off on a family bush walk before breakfast. Elle spots a couple of beautiful Lorikeets in the trees, a Kookaburra too.
Wolfie assists Aunty Kris with Freddy’s training.
In the playground we all have a wonderful play together. Luke makes an important call to a potential adopter for Diesel. It’s exciting because it could be the perfect job for this sweet working boy. We can only pray.
Meanwhile, Aunty Sam dishes out treats. For nothing. 🙈 … Barney puts himself in between Mum and Cruiser. He’s not yet at the stage of trusting that guy. He sees a couple of tricks he’s pulling that he himself employs.
Luke talks about what happened. He also talks about the relationship between Abra and Barney. Which leads him to the training he has been doing behind the scenes for Abra … and Barney too. Personally, I’m beside myself excited for Barney. I think this is the serious call up he’s been waiting his whole entire life/career to hear.
At pool time, a special someone barks at the gate. It’s Nala! Her mum is going to help us out a bit in the coming weeks and Nala is stoked, she knows what that means … Freddy the Goldie has already told her … it’s cool when your mum works at the farm because it means you get to come to the farm all those days.
The dock diving is epic. Ziggy brings his A game and the farm diving pack meet his enthusiasm. Tank, Chopper, Rosco and Rover fly through the air Into tomorrow, my heart is full seeing them truly living their bestest lives. Not one of them enjoyed swimming when they arrived here at the farm.
Joey got her practice in the morning with the flirt pole, so I’m guessing it was what inspired her to dive off today several times for the lure too. Way to go Joey.

Miss Violet, as always, is right in the thick of it. Four giant big boys swimming competitively for the lure does not even make her hesitate from getting in there and trying to get it herself. She does not see herself as any different. And she isn’t. Her heart is as big as the other lions. You’re amazing Miss Violet.
This is just a very small part of our day. There’s formal training in the morning, integrated distraction training throughout the day and now we have bite work training too. The dogs days are full of fun and adventure. It’s no wonder they sleep so peacefully in the afternoon and evening. I love to watch them at night, it’s as if they’re smiling in their sleep.

How amazing would it be if we could all learn about life through the farm dogs (and Kitty Rose). Unconditional love; forgiveness; tolerance; respect; accept those with disabilities; walk away when you're annoyed; go chill in the sun when you need me-time; teamwork to help a newbie; pay attention when the route changes; share; adapt and most important of all SLEEP with abandon at the end of a long, hard day. How lucky are Wolfie, Ellie and Evie to grow up with a pack of calm, loving and happy and protective dogs!!! I really enjoyed the part where Luke was talking about bite training for Abra, then when he mentioned Barney also tagged along Sam joyously sniggered 😊 I think we all must of been sat watching with similar noises of amusement at that revelation. But I love the attitude the Farm has of No Dog Left Behind. All dogs are so lovingly treated as individuals in their own right, all receive the nurturing and emotional support each requires. Speaking of Seabiscuit....my late husband, John Micheal Pollard, was the son of the jockey, John 'Red' 'Cougar' Pollard, that rode him until they fell and his leg was ruined. In the movie called "Seabiscuit" Red was played by Toby McGuire, and he did a fantastic job of a really accurate portrayal! I was married to his son for 14 years before he died from liver cancer in 2003. 😢 He was a REALLY good man and husband. Kitty and Abra are hysterical to watch. Miss Kitty is in the lead at this point I think. So good to see Nala back!!! She lost no time getting into her old position. She looked like she was having a blast! Miss Violet never ceases to amaze me. She is right in the thick of things and doesn't let anything stop her. Looking forward to see Barney get that boost of pride and confidence with his bite training. He must be so proud of himself. I,too, love watching these dogs sleep. So much peace and serentity as they dream of the fun days in their forever home.

Elle looks as if her hair is wavy, very pretty. Joey in a very relaxed playtime until Cutey and Tilly get involved. "Time for cuddles" Wolfie looks like a 50's rocker. "Mum, mum hello" love the face of Shadow. 💖💖. Lily lost the toy, Freddo must have claimed it. That's funny, Evie runs ahead a little then turns back checking just her brothers and sisters🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Snack time, "we love you Mum" Awwwww Cruiser going over the top with kisses, Rosco being tolerant but Barney not sure. Diesel enjoying his "chase the birds" in the background. Is that Maria Callas that's playing again?? She had a magnificent voice. Potential adoptee yay😆👏👏. That's great for the explanation on Barney, I wondered if he was going to do the snap. Cruiser is like a rocket😊😊. Looking forward the structured bite training for Abra. Luke was surprised about Abra biting Freddo on the bum and bringing him down. I hope Barney's bite challenge was recorded. It would be great if Cruiser started swimming. Great trick Rosco, swift move stealing the toy. Ah there's our favourite "treading water" cute dog. The leg muscles are shown to perfection when the slo mo captures the leaps. Miss Violet just loves going in circles, her excitement is infectious. Tilly has her toy playing "drop and retrieve". Is it any wonder the kids needs great tucker, the energy is exhausting to watch. THE BALL yay mad scramble. Now snooze and cuddle time, there's the brothers together. Welcome back Nala, missed you girl and your water ballet. So many funny and adorable moments. I love that Barney will have Abra as his sparring partner for the bite training. I think Barney believes he's ranked higher than Cruiser, and seems to have Cruiser wrapped around his paw. Don't let that baby face deceive anyone🐶 I love how much the dogs get a such a huge kick out of the swimming. Then at the end of the day....all just lazing around is a beautiful sight to see. And of course a little more comedy caper between Abra and Kitty Rose🤣to end it even more perfectly.💞💞

Wolfie is such a BOY! Elle obviously has her dad’s love of nature and wildlife. Fabulous to see Nala back doing her ballerina stint in the pool. All we need is for lunch at the pool now and she will be there hanging over the side of the pool shouting come on come on…lunch is over!

It was fun to watch the awakening of the pack. Evie so good with her brother in getting him ready. Figure it must be a bit of a challenge. Joey so smart and likes the game and attention. Tilly is such a big fluffy girl, love you and that little howl! ❤️😘🥰. Elle out in the front of the pack! ❤😊

Wow, they were all full of vinegar that morning - lol. Till Till just melted under Elle's pets. I just love Evie's fashion-of-the-day choices, she's an artist. What a treat for all of us, Elle's pair of lorikeets! Thank you, Elle! From the look of the dam, you got a very heavy rain recently? Hello to Nala, our favorite goalie! Lovely to see you. Violet, in the water, trying to take the lure from Rosco - brave or crazy? Freddo, you always wear your bowtie with pizzazz. Your videographer was so focused on his work, I was just waiting for him to walk right off the dock. What a busy day you had!

Watching Nala today made me think of all the doggy daycare pups. Dock diving reminds me of Bandit an his game, that Till Till has changed and made her own. I miss the little doggies doing the dock dives! Winston, Doug, Ariel, Princess, Minnie, Archie, Daisy, and the fearless Zeus! Those were just a few of the littles ones!
