Je peux regarder autant de fois cette série, je ne m'en lasserais jamais. Je n'ai jamais vu une série aussi touchante que ça. Les personnages, les leçons à en tirer, leurs humours décalés etc. Les gens qui n'ont pas regardés HIMYM ratent beaucoup de moments inoubliables et mémorables. It was the perfect ending. In my mind, Barney turns out to be gay because Robin was the girl he came closest to committing to. And the baby will help him realize this. I loved the finale, except seeing the divorce just for Barney's sake. He turned out to be a main draw for viewers. The mother being dead explains why Ted starts his story when he does and why Robin is so prevalent. Stayed true to the heart of the show. (team ted and robin)

The show outgrew Ted and Robin. The attempts to bring it back in later seasons always felt forced. The ending would have fit perfectly on a 2 season show, but after 9 seasons it just didn't work anymore. The (official) alternative ending is the true ending for me.

darthen856 I could not have said it better. After 9 seasons it was painfully apparent that Ted and Robin would not work out and shouldn’t be forced together. And I really hated how they knew how they were going to end the show but still built up barney and Robin so much, and showed how strong they were as a couple just to tear it apart one episode after the got married.
