Over ആയിട്ടുള്ള മതചിന്ത കുട്ടികളിൽ നിന്ന് ഇല്ലാതാകട്ടെ എന്ന് കരുതി ആകും അങ്ങനെ എഴുതിയത്. കേരളത്തിലെ ഒത്തിരി സിനിമകളിൽ നോവലുകളിൽ ഇസ്ലാമിനെയും ഉസ്താദ്മാരെയും അനാചാരങ്ങളെയും വിശ്വാസങ്ങളെയും കളിയാക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അത്രയേ ജോസഫ് മാഷ് കരുതിയിട്ടുള്ളു. ഇന്നും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാണ് കരുതുന്നത്. പക്ഷേ ജോസഫ് മാഷിനൊരു വിലയില്ലേ. അദ്യേഹമൊരു അധ്യാപകനല്ലെ? പോരാത്തതിന് ഏശുവിലും കർത്തവിലും വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ പള്ളിയിൽ പോകുന്ന ആളുമല്ലെ? ഒരു മതത്തെ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും മറ്റൊരു മതത്തെ അവഹേളിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതും ആണ് മത സ്പർധയുടെ പ്രധാന കാരണം. അത് ജോസഫ് മാഷ് ഇതിന് മുമ്പും വീട്ടിലും കുട്ടികളോടും പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൈ വെട്ടിയവനെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ തക്കതായ ശിക്ഷ നൽകിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കേരളം ലോകത്തിന് ഒരു മാതൃക ആകുമായിരുന്നു. ഇനിയെങ്കിലും ഇത് പോലെ മുന്കോപപ്രവർത്തികൾ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കട്ടെ .നമ്മുടെ നീതിപീഠം ശക്തമാകട്ടെ 🤲
