इस फ़िल्म के कहानी लेखक के तौर पर हमने सुरेंद्र कौल साहब का नाम लिया है परंतु वो फ़िल्म के कहानी लेखक नहीं बल्कि पटकथा लेखक थे । आज ही फ़िल्म के वास्तविक कहानी लेखक स्वर्गीय श्री भृंग टुपकरी जी के बेटे आमोद टुपकरी जी ने हमें ईमेल के माध्यम से असली सच व सबूत बताए । हालाँकि यह भी एक सत्य है कि फ़िल्म के क्रेडिट सेक्शन में कहानी लेखक के तौर पर किसी का नाम नहीं आता और आईएमडीबी में इस फ़िल्म के लेखक के तौर पर सुरेंद्र कौल और क़ादर ख़ान साहब का नाम लिखा हुआ है । जिसमें क़ादर साहब तो फ़िल्म के संवाद लेखक थे यह तो सर्वविदित है अब बचे कौल साहब तो हमने सोंचा की वही फ़िल्म के कहानी लेखक हैं । ख़ैर ! अब असली सच सामने आ गया है और इसके लिए हम आमोद जी के दिल से शुक्रगुजार हैं ।

Wonderful compilation but one huge mistake made .. The story was written by Bhring Tupkari ( from the Mahabharata serial fame ) and not by Surinder Kaul . Please correct this

One thing you missed, this film was first offered to O.P.Nayyar as music director.when talk was not agreed for lyruc writer the domain of O.P.Nayyar's choice the matter was cancelled. In this discussion people involved were F.C.Mehra, Amitabh Bhachan ,Shabana Azmi etc.
