My younger brother was a police officer at an Ivy league university in Pennsylvania(he graduated from). After a few unsuccessful years working in his field of study, he decided to join the force. He loved his job because it mostly involved minor student infractions such as breaking up rowdy drinking parties. He also loved his job because it reminded him of happier times as a student there. Unfortunately he also had to fight against outside elements such as this perp. He suffered several serious injuries from struggles with criminals and retired early but died from irreversible neurological damage last month. RIP Kenny 🙏

I see comments complaining that the officer put his hands on him. First of all, for the safety of the driver and the officer he asked him to stay seated in the car. The guy refused, and im guessing was giving queues that we didn’t pick up on the badge cam that he was going to try something stupid. At which point the officer establishes control, if the guy had stayed in the car, he would've just got a ticket, bur HE chose to go for the gun, and therefore he danced to the tune.

I got queues from the badge cam something was seriously mental about this guy. Not listening to requests to sit down, moving towards the officer constantly to put himself in striking distance, constantly fidgety... The officer did perfect to put his hand on his arm to prevent a fast punch and create some space. He did it in a warm and polite way even.. this officer did perfect

Early ‘90’s while obtaining my BS in Crim Justice. A professor informed us, when being pulled over make sure you get out of the car and extend your hand for a hand shake. This notifies the cop you are friendly and not a threat. I tried that once, it worked. Got me off with a warning. Would NEVER attempt that today😵🤕

My Mother In Law always tries go get out at traffic stops thinking it's polite to talk to them face to face instead of understanding it's a red flag. Great observation. The blood starts flowing after the first uppercut (definitely NOT a jab 🤣), as the streak on the door appears as the officer is landing uppercut #2.
