I have a stock STi with nameless 4” catback muffler deletes double walled staggered tips,I love them. I made a video of a few sound clips. Also the 4” tips fill the gap for the muffler tips the best so you won’t have that gap between the muffler cutouts and the actuall mufflers.I just warm people they are loud AF and your neighbors will hate you but the rumble sound increases like 5 fold it’s awesome, anyway great video and for the price I can see remark is awesome.

While I know Nameless makes good products, when it comes to their axlebacks, they're either way too damn expensive for the axleback you want, or complete shit. The base $329 one is garbage. The welds are okay, but the piping is tight, the tips are small diameter, and they look weak not filling the entire exhaust cutout. But their 3.5 inch staggered or level axleback, look really good (I believe they're both double walled). But the price? Way too much for an axleback. I'm not a fan of burnt tips, but the 4 inch burnt tips cost Invidia N1 money, or Fujitsubo single exit (on sale) money, and neither Invidia nor Nameless can touch Fujitsubo in quality. Hell the 4inch neochrome tips is almost Nameless Catback money!! I do like nameless products but they're mad expensive to get them the way you want. I don't need a catback, if you're not going turboback exhaust, you're not getting power gains, it's all about sound. Price for material and sound. Nameless gets me good price for sound but for the material it's too much. In the axleback game, Remark kills the competition. Best price, best look, and tbh best sound (okay Fujitsubo has a better sound but I'm not paying $1100 for an axleback and waiting for a part from Japan). Get the Remarks. If you have a Nameless, know I'm not shitting on you. Its your car, your money, I won't judge. I'm just criticizing Nameless on their cost because they didn't cost this much 2 years ago.

@@judeau9151 How are you finding the Remark axle backs in terms of quality and tone?
@judeau91513 жыл бұрын
@@ljsummerz7119 quality is top-notch. But I’m no welder and this was my first exhaust purchase, so take it with a grain of salt. I’m sure you’ve done your research, but I’ve personally only read good things about the Remarks. You’re just not getting the brand recognition like Tomei or Cobb. My car is stock aside from the axle back. I think the tone / visuals of the upgrade 100% justify the purchase. You will definitely notice it, but it’s a “low” enough tone to not come off as attention-seeking. There is some drone if you’re stuck between 3000-3500rpm. I blame most of it on the fact you can hear a leaf hit your door in these cars. I plan on throwing some sound deadening in the trunk/rear seats.
@judeau91513 жыл бұрын
@@ljsummerz7119 also a super easy install. Just buy a pair of exhaust mount pliers of Amazon for like $15 to save some headaches with the rubber gaskets

I just got mine last week.remark burnt tips double wall axle back for my 2018 sti,and i installed it right away when it arrived.onpy took me 20 mins for both since its only has 4 hangers and 4 bolts with gaskets included.im tellin you,it sounds very muscular and the rumble of my sti is very clear alive.my friends even thought i have full exhaust due to compare it to their catback,mine has a better crisp sound and no backfire on upshift and downshift due to i still have the stock resonator.resonator on exhaust is important,it balance sound waves coming in and out,so by removing it or getting catback full exhaust you're just gaining a little hp since you got a better flow on your mid pipe but sacrificing it for longevity of your engine and it creates backfires all the time which most kids thinks its cool but thats bad for emmision and for your engine in a long run.so muffler delete is the best upgrade if you just want a louder sound by not harming anything.
@hrmontes087 жыл бұрын
Could you post a video of the sound? How much louder is it in the cab? I want to get as close to the subaru rumble as I can (or anything louder than the stock exhuast) but dont want to completely compromise the "quiet" ride if you know what i mean.
@jackcollin16957 жыл бұрын
Hugo Montes all muffler delete is louder than catback with mufflers even resonator delete.mufflers are the silencer of exhaust.i dont like the pop and crackle sounds that most kids like which is actually an abnormal sound of a car due to without resonator that balance sound waves inside the mid pipes that also to decrease drone inside your cabin.no drone on just muffler delete but its loud on cold start idle and if you rev it high.
@jackcollin16957 жыл бұрын
Hugo Montes the rumble is alive from quarter mile but its different compare to the rumbles of tomei catback and borla catback.those 2 has better rumble sound but its not that loud compare to muffler deletes.its up to you if you can sacrifice more rumble gain on those 2 or a loud rumble on deletes.also you will lose weights on muffdeletes than a quad catbacks with mufflers.but if you like gain both sound and decrease weights,get the tomei catback but the looks is weird on the rear end because its a single exit exhaust.

Thanks for the video comparison. I just installed a Nameless Performance axle back muffler delete kit in my 2014 STi and I love it. I got the one with the 3.5 inch, double wall, straight cut, staggered tips. I would have really liked to have a Remark kit to consider but they only make them for 2015+ WRXs and STIs. I don't know if I would have bought a Remark in the end but it would have been nice to have some more options.

Dude thanks! Finally a comparison. The double wall remarks are sooo nice, similar to the CPE street catback for the 2.0t genesis that i had (look it up, it looked great, and theres a vid on my page) I want the double wall nameless but it's just so much more expensive! So I am going with the doublewall remarks. Thanks for the comparison and solidifying my decision!

Nice video. I have the Nameless double wall axle back on my 2016 WRX CVT. Wanted to get get an STI, but can't manage the clutch till I get a knee replacement and for those of you vets out there...you know how quick the VA is and I'll probably have this paid off by the time I get the knee fixed. The always on paddle shifters make it bearable for the most part. Everything else is is stock other than K&N air filter (not intake...wil be soon through). I can't say which is louder since I haven't heard a remark. I wil tell you that mine is pretty loud and rumbly when you hit the pedal. Almost zero drone at cruising speeds. Cold starts and when it is cold outside...pretty monstrous. Wife tells me the neighbors probably don't like it...I said yeah you're probably right, but they can rent somewhere else and we can rent to Subie/Performance Tuning friendly tenants. Lol! I got a really good deal on it, a guy in our local Subie group only had it for about 5 months and decided to sell because his neighbor across the street kept making comments about how she could always hear him coming and going from work. He did say she was nice about it but he just didn't want to cause isssues...ahh the joys of rent control. Anyhow...I really like the sound and when you get on it, it is heard. For those trying to decide; which ever you go with...just do what makes you happy. S# 24/7

With you on the wrecked knees. 6 years in the mountain infantry and I've been in and out of physical therapy ever since. I got the MT but some days I wish I didn't. Thank you for your service. I've placed an order for my Remark axleback. It can be paired to the midpipe/y-pipe to be a full catback no issue. Between that, the price, the quality, the sound, for me it's the one to have. I just wish it wasn't backordered for months on end -___-
