Drumstep is amazing, definitely better than dubstep in my opinion. Dubstep is mainly just loud noises which I can't really do sometimes, though I like the beat. Thats why I love drumstep. Its a calmer dubstep.

I love BOTH, but dubstep is a genre EXTREMELY hard to explain. In my opinion, if it is quite melodic & it's well arranged, then the song can be awesome. I agree, some dubsteps may sound noisy & I absolutely HATE those. Ex. "Make A Stand" is dubstep though the melody is really calming & easy to listen to - "Savage"( which is the same genre) is only noise to me.
