I think Zack is a little more well rounded than the rest of them, whose lives are pretty heavily sports-focused. Jimmy could probably easily mention a not-overly-obscure baseball player that Zack wouldn't know, but Zack knows more general knowledge.

Anyone a little older will recall that Jane Goodall’s work was a much bigger part of the cultural zeitgeist in the 70’s and 80’, Gen X remembers her many tv interviews about conservation and animal behavior.

@@jlo7770, Ada Lovelace was the answer to the first computer programmer. She's also Lord Byron's daughter. Lovelace was a brilliant mathematician and developed an algorithm for Charles Babbage's difference engine (i.e., very early 19th calculating machine). She's definitely quite famous. I suspect younger people are a little more likely to know her as schools have put more effort to include historically important women. Computer people are more likely to know who she is than others. However, she isn't so famous that it's unreasonable that these guys didn't know her and assumed the computer person was an ENIAC-era, mid-20th century man. There is a computer language named Ada. It was developed by the US Defense Department and I think that and other big defense and aviation companies are its main users. I don't know how much it's used today, but it would surprise me if they're still using it.
