No, they went 2/3 after the practice round. If they lose the first game obviously they're not in the zone yet and needed the practice round. If they win the first game, obviously no practice round was needed and the round counts towards the series. Those GeoGod Guys have won every series fair and square, and are therefore literally undefeated. They don't make the rules. It's just facts. You owe them an apology.

There was meta data in that Taiwan location that helped the opponent guess real fast. The bottom area of the light or utility poles (can't remember which) had a bumble bee pattern yellow & black stripes. That type of identification helps these Geoguessr pros guess super fast. Geoguessr pros love meta data from the Google Maps cars, utility poles, & bollards/road signs.

Their "go on instinct" strategy is fine if that's what they enjoy. But they guess so quickly on basically nothing its almost random at times. It's almost like playing in "no moving" mode. People do that but you generally need to be really really good to pull it off. As long as they have contempt for the minutiae (sky rifts, sun position, etc) they'll never win very often or advance very far.

It's absurd how yall got pretty decent at the game over the past few months, and then decided to completely give up on trying at all and make entirely arbitrary guesses every round. wish these guys would try to pay attention to obvious clues instead of relying on other people to point out flags which they haven't memorized or other clues which they could use to know the country... just seems like they're playing as a disorganized team and when they win or happen to guess correct, they feel like they're the best, and congratulate themselves.... but most of the time have no idea... they'll probably block my comment for hating on them...
