This vlog is one of the most authentic I watch.. because we can see how meticulous her actions are, that she really moves so graceously, cooks so well, takes care of herself on and offcam, like you can't really pretend to be that manner for a long time. But to me, she is really living her best life in the simplest yet most genuine way she possibly can. Nami - I wonder if you realize what an incredible role model you have become to a lot of your fans. You say your life is ordinary, most of us would will tell you that you are anything but ordinary! I’m single, twice divorced and 54. You have taught me to live with less things, slow down and cook 99.9% of my meals at home. I have even tried some of the recipes you make (sorry but I draw the line at those dried baby anchovies, sardines and shrimp that make it into some dishes. I can’t do eyes looking at me no matter how small!!! LOL). And thank you for allowing follow along for the ride. Remember, You are NOT ordinary!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ Forgot to add - you dress so elegantly and it has made me be more aware of what I wear on a daily basis. Lost of love from your fans!!!

I love watching your videos on Saturday mornings as I drink my coffee and try to wake up. I am so excited for you to find a new place that you really love! I always thought you deserved a bigger kitchen to work in and display all your pretty dishes. The older I get, the more I still love kids stuff more than adult stuff. The colors are so cute. I tend to not enjoy adult themes and colors. Like at IKEA, the kids furniture is much more fun. Haha to bad we can't have kids rooms as adults. Thank you for sharing your day again. 😊 I adore osmanthus! I was surprised to see how large the tree was! I'm extremely jealous .... because I had a very small one several years ago now, but it died when I was away on holidays and we'd had some very dry weather. There's something that strikes me as very different between Japan and Australia, and that is the large amount of packaging that you seem to n use. I've noticed that even for o n e small biscuit, it is wrapped individually. We are working very hard here in Australia to reduce the amount of packaging we use for everything in order to keep down on waste and to save the greenhouse gas emissions. Our shops no longer provide free bags, and if people don't remember to take their own shopping or grocery bags, not only do they have to buy their bags, but it is greatly discouraged and frowned upon if they don't have bags. However it's acceptable to use empty boxes that are left from goods that have been unpacked onto the shelves. I'm genuinely interested to know what Japan is doing about waste and carbon pollution. We are also encouraged to install solar panels on the roofs of houses, not only so that coal fired power stations are phased out as quickly as possible, but also extra power that isn't used in domestic can go back into the power grid for manufacturing. I'm really impressed by how healthy your meals are ... as in, not all the sweet foods that we eat here. Perhaps that's why you are all so finely built. I used to be slim until I was in my early 60s. I'd love to see more videos of your regular grocery stores, and the regular day to day living in Tokyo. Is that something that you show? I'm looking forward to learning more about you and seeing more of Japan. 😊
