I like these guitars though. I think Collings "care" about products, history & quality in a way only a couple of others really demonstrate.

The reason why you should buy a Collings instead for a Gibson is that Collings dont have ballbats XXL necks, and you can play the guitar right out off the box! Gibson allways need a fret dressin and Tonepros uppgrade to preform. The build quality is light years from each other! I play PRS after years and years with clumsy Gibson guitars!

I'm sorry but these guitars are just slightly modernized versions of 60 year old designs... not very innovative and definitely overpriced.. there are a dozen guitars just like this that offer the same compliments but at a much more competitive price.. just doesn't make sense to me.. and I own a Paul Reed Smith and 2 Gibsons..
