I am a sabian xsr user and glad to see they have made the Ozone cymbals. The xsr series are at a good price and quality as well. It only costs about CDN 550 for a set(14,16,18,20), which is awesome!

I love the xsr line I have the super pack 14 hats ,10 splash 20 ride and I've got 14,16,17,18 crashes. Gonna get the 19 next and possibly a China.

Really liked the element crashes at the end. Not sure of the price point but I'm sure it's not " affordable ". That's why I use the xsrs they're affordable and sound great.

Love Sabian but the FRX price point is just as high as HH & HHX line. Also if you are taking material out of cymbals you should shave off a couple bucks.

Ryan Donohue Not how it works lol... Its a pro grade cymbal. Same reason Ozone crashes still cost high. The FRX line is a expansion of the AAX freq and ISO crash model theories. Just because they arent as loud doesnt make them any less professional. No different than the big and ugly models, which are not cheap. People dont get that FRX is a new line, which is right there with HHX. Its not entry level.

Huh? Adding the holes ADDS a step, so makes sense that they would cost more. Cymbals aren't sold by weight.

Are they hand hammered? I get taking holes out is another processor so more money, but I kinda agree.

The Crescent 14" hats sound great. Not a fan of Sabian Ozone cymbals, but the those sound pretty good. Maybe the Mic or the acoustics

One of the worst sounds in small live gigs is cymbals that are way too loud. Quiet ones are a great development.
