This demo really helped the synth grow on me. The interface actually looks very intuitive. I think the lack of 2 simultaneous filters is fine, as long as eventually we can import our own wavetables....or at least, if Sequential releases a few extra banks you can download. P.S. Thank you for keeping the text under the knobs, it is so much easier to read this way.

WHile I don't consider it a fault of the synth to not have the serial/parallel capabilities of the pro2, I'll have to disagree with how Dave describes such as "quickly getting too complicated". I adore the routing options of the pro2. the swirling soundspace possibilities are delightful!
@Cyberpunk90005 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Osborn I was 100% going to buy this synth thinking that the serial parallel would be mind blowing. The same feature on the Matrix Brute is why it sounds so good. It pains me to say this but they have missed a massive opportunity to make this one of the greatest Mono’s of all time.

How's it going? I've had one on layby for a long time. I can't seem to make up my mind though. The Korg Prologue interests me aswell. I had a Mopho x4 but got fed up with it and sold it. For some reason, to me, the Rev2 sounds more old school than the original. Just something with the osc or filters perhaps, but I get a better feel from it, despite them being dco again.

What a powerful synth! amazing. Listening to how flexible this modern synth is amazing. Being that I'm probably at least as old as Dave Smith, I remember buying an early Mini Moog. VERY expensive back in the dark ages, and truth be known, the early versions were so sensitive to temperature change, they would only stay in decent TUNE if it were kept in a small room with the same temperature. Yes, it was a different time in our History. Consider the Performance model. $1599.00. That's a VERY aggressive price considering what the Pro 3 can do. Back in the dark ages, I had to take out bank loans and use ALL the money I made playing gigs in order to pay for my gear. People that are not impressed with the Pro 3 may not like it for various reasons, but what it does for what it cost is not it.

Could somebody clarify? @11:00 Mr Smith mentions that cv outputs are at audio rate and can output oscillators. Does this mean that they output audio and that you could feed the Pro-3 oscillators for example into external filters (and then back into the VCA section of the Pro-3)?
@dammysavis6695 жыл бұрын
Perhaps looking at the performance of the Pro 2 will help clarify whether this can be done because this seems to be the same, based on their respective descriptions on the Sequential site. However, whether or not you can do that with the cv outputs, there are 1/4" stereo and heaphone outs and more pertinently a 1/4" input so you could route the sound out and into the device if the CV thing didn't work out
