I got my Phoenix... great guitar overall but I'm honestly not loving the Custom 14 pickup. I find it a little too bright, brittle and noisy... like a cross between a high output Gibson PAF and a regular Duncan Custom, which in my experience is a fussy pickup that doesn't work in every guitar. I had to lower the height more than usual, which did tame it a little but, again... I'm just not loving it. IMO, the coil split is almost worthless. It just makes it more noisy. For the record, I've been a Duncan user since the 1980's and most of my guitars are loaded with them (JB, Custom, Distortion, Pegasus, Nazgul). I think I'm going to eventually put a JB in it. My other Phoenixes love the JB.

All LTD’s! Big disappointment. Not a fan of them. I am a huge lover of real ESP’s. I was hoping to see some in this video but unfortunately I didn’t. These LTD’s are not even close to the real deal.

And again, ESP CLEARLY SHOWS that they HATE 7-string, and other extended scale guitars! Just Like All Big Guitar Manufacturers!
