This is one of the best things that happened to Tamil Keethanai Songs. I strongly agree with Mr. Clement Vedanayagam. The new trend in Tamil Churches every where is giving up on Keerthanai Songs. Most of them are in poetic forms with great meaning and in Carnatic music. I am very encouraged to see that this group has undertaken to record in proper form so that this form of worship remains for ever. This form of worship is so devine and must be preserved. If Mr. Vedanayagam could put them in CD, I will be first one to buy. Thank you very much for doing this.

This is one of my favourite songs of Sasthriyar. Dear brother I have one doubt, can you please clear it? 'Naga vimbamuyar kola namo namo' I think the meaning of this line is The verses of Numbers 21:8, in Old Testament.That is oru venkala sarppathin uruvathai seithu, athai oru kolinmel uyarthumpadi Moses -kku sollappattathu. ( nagam = sarppam or pambu). In New Testament, it has been accomplished by Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the cross, for our redumption., John 3:14. So I think this should be the meaning of 'Naga vimbamuyar kola namo namo.' Praise the Lord . God bless you.
