One of the weird things I did during Covid lockdowns was listen to every existing version of this song. This is probably my favourite. I love the various timbres of the voices and the fact that no attempt was made to make the accents homogenuous...also the backing music. Everything fits together in a glorious whole...love it!

The old movie clips add an excellent visual of the era and setting. Multiple singers and players excellent portrayal over usual single performer. Magnificent. Thank you.

This is just SO shit hot!!!!! It's been one of my favourite songs of all time since the "Blood on The Tracks" album was first released, and I've been waiting for someone to do a video of this great story for years!!!!!

Bob gave many songs to other artists who took his songs and turned them into number one hits. I find this version of Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts entertaining and well done. I appreciate other perspectives in about everything, and though this won't likely hit the charts, it's very thoughtful to use these vlogs to help support a very worthy cause. I can't help but believe Bob would be pleased.

This is a wonderful rendition of a Bobby D classic, a wonderful bunch of people united by the love of humanity and by voice and action reach out in defense of the defenseless. Hats of to the all who put this together, special applause for the video production that topped it all off.

What are the name's of the female vocalists on this video? I think one was a dark haired singer and the other a blonde singer.

Good morning, Thank you all for this excellent interpretation. Could someone give the titles of the films? Especially the one where you see an actress dancing. (I don’t know her name) There’s "the shangai lady" and "my darling clementine" and what are the others? Thank you.

Dylan's only. Don't like anything that put ideas about this song in my head. I enjoy the millions times I have listened to this song forming my own ideas about it.

I really like Jess Silk’s two verses. She has exactly the wrong voice for a western ballad and therefore brings an exhilarating freshness to it, if that makes sense.
