These N55 love seizing. More commonly due to not having baffled sumps. This one is a bit rarer with the whole oil pipe situation. Look forward to seeing the outcome.. had my N55 seize on me but decided to get a Cat B and take the engine and box and just replace rather than rebuild.

This is why its important to pay attention to what your car is doing. If the driver would have noticed the low oil pressure light/ heard the engine starve of oil and immediately stopped the motor the engine could have been possibly saved

All good. One bit of advice. Try and be more organized. Get trays and labeled areas rather than things on the floor. Just makes it cleaner and perhaps customers will be happier to come

The oilpan is not fixed for tracking with the m135i, so the engine runs dry in strong corners.. They need a fixed oil pan(witch fied chambers). Oilpump maybe needs an upgrade to for tracking. That is gonna be the problem 👍 cheers, nice video's!

What about the crank case bore walls? You may need to rebore the block and fit oversize pistons

It will be going to the engine machine shop to asses what needs doing for sure, from there we can decide what’s next you have a garage yourself or a mechanic definitely sound clued up lol

@@NamzBoost the bore walls must be scored so bad, but yeah an engineering shop will be able to save 90 percent of it, new crank and cams, might be able to machine head for oversize bearings too. They will have their work cut out :-) looking forward to see how this goes 👍
