Masha Allah! Great video brother, I had to subscribe following your indepth explanation of the engine rebuild. Most car enthusiasts only give attention to how a car looks and how shiny the parts are, forgetting about the main part of a car. You are a credit to your craft, I salute the teachers who taught you. Wish this channel all the success🙂

I normally watch the Matt Armstrong videos and find it fascinating to see how they repair a write-off. This though, a fully f**ked engine is something else. Fair play mate, will be tough to top this. Would be interesting to see a Lambo or Ferrari next 👀

Agreed Mat has moved away from this interesting type of content, unfortunately. a full rebuild used to be many video showing lots of steps, now it is a couple of videos for a full build.

WHY NOT GLUE OR WELD THE HEAD GASKET GRID THING ON TO THE EMGINE PERMANTELY RATHER THAN RELY ON BOLTS THAT WAY IT CANT ALLOW THE OIL AND COILING SOLUTION TO MIX AND PREVENT FAILURE
@5905-k8v2 ай бұрын
@@NamzBoost HEY NAMZ COULD I TAKE A V8 ENGINE IKE THAT AND SWAP IT INTO A TOYOTA ? AND IF SO WOULD I HAVE TO TELL THE DVLA ???
@NamzBoost2 ай бұрын
@ anything is possible and yes you would need to tell DVLA
@Mac_F872 ай бұрын
@@5905-k8vyou can’t have anything other than the gasket in between the head and block. Even a couple of mm difference in thickness can change the compression ratio. If you were to put a glue/sealant between then it would increase the hight of the head in relation to the block. In essence increasing the compression ratio, meaning the engine could either not run right or lose power. That is why when a head is skimmed it’s literally microns that’s a removed to get a good surface again. Welding would put too much head into the head a likely cause warping. In short, head gasket failure is pretty rare and there is absolutely no need to do anything to stop it.
